Um, I think you mean Cracktorio. The production lines in that game might be a bit complex for him, but Satisfactory might be perfect for him.

Satisfactory is much better for base building, which is seemingly what nick is hooked on here.

I second (wind) that: If the survival element is only a secondary motivator for you, check out Satisfactory! The environs are very beautiful, the fauna only an annoyance at best, and production and logistics offer so much fun... Also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arFtIiUBga4
