I would have preferred more no-name casting as Kratos, but honestly this isnt a bad choice. It should help the show get some attention early on, but Kratos isn't an easy character to pull off

Far Too Many Frogs

It's not even that I don't like to play games though. It's that I haven't been able to play much of anything without encouragement. Like, I recently learned that a friend is playing Dead Island 2 with one of her friends and neither of us realized that the other played and so they're going to snag me for their campaign. I have several other games set up and ready to roll, but I just haven't found the executive function or motivation to play.

I know that Nick is only one playing ark raiders out of this crew but man that game has hooked me. I'm curious if Nick has watched any of the Burnt Peanut. Some of the off the wall stuff he says reminds me of Marty, the guy is hilarious.

What are your favorite resident evil-like games? Any good recommendations in the indie space?

People like to talk about the classic RE cycle, but there are other trends within the series. Speaking broadly, I’d say the games have gradually been taking themselves more seriously. People credit RE4 for a tone shift towards sillier stuff, but don’t talk about how RE1 had sharks and a bigass snake; it’s been goofy since the start. My question is, do you think the series is better with more silliness in it or are those moments too distracting in a modern title.
