I very much enjoyed this, but while I appreciate that it’s a big time commitment for you all do you think that the spoilercasts could be a separate series? Windbreaker is the highlight of my week but I had to rush out to get and finish Resi 9 otherwise it would have just been a week without you all, or else just getting the whole game spoiled. Don’t actively give us FOMO please haha!

Yeah it was a very confusing story overall. Even going back, the villains are so convinced that Grace is the key to whatever they want... but wouldn't they want her to be safe? Instead of harassed by all these BOWs in the care center? The Wesker-clone and his existence also baffle me... so really, is he literally a clone of Wesker? Did Wesker pull a Lex Luthor here and preemptively allow for his DNA to be extracted so he'd always persist? Victor calls him an "imitation", so that's where my mind went. It was also disappointing that Grace didn't get a single boss fight. I thought some of the bosses were fine for the spectacle (the giant spider in particular), others were just kinda there as arena fights, while others felt very Zelda-esque with literal glowing weak points to hit. That plant boss in particular reminded me a bit too much of the first Twilight Princess boss (also a giant plant with multiple heads).

I think that in 5 or one of the revelations games it’s revealed that Wesker was part of basically an Ubermensch program started by Spencer and so he wasn’t the only one. Zeno might be a clone or something or just another person who was experimented on. It’s kind of obscure lore and I forgot the specifics so I’m getting some of it wrong I’m sure

Tbh I think what would have helped some of the more confusing plot elements of this one work better is a little recap video similar to DMC5 since a lot of things that come up are from games that are 20+ years old and very mid. Also weird that they sort of tried to redeem a nazi lol
