StH was how you do a trailer - so stylish and slick, plenty of exposition and clearly defined narrative. Really looking forward to it.

Yakuza was my Covid series. I had the original on ps2 back in 2006. Never clicked for me back then but loved playing through the series as an adult. Yakuza 0 and the more recent turn based Like a Dragon games being standouts. I think that RGG has a smart way of reusing assets from game to game. Especially now, with such long development cycles and some series missing entire console generations, other studios should take note. That said, I'm excited for a new RGG game unbeholden to the Yakuza/Like A Dragon story.

Fox McCloud will be in the new Mario movie?🤯

LaboratoryManiac

The Fox McCloud poster honestly feels like a huge spoiler. I wish they hadn't put that out there, I would have liked to have been surprised by that in the theater. What are your thoughts on Nintendo breaking price parity between physical and digital games going forward? I'm glad that, for the time being at least, it's digital games getting discounted back to $60 and not physical games increasing further. But if the cost of NAND flash memory keeps going up, I can see this split now as potentially setting the stage for an increase to physical prices down the line (while still maintaining a lower price point digitally to keep the games largely accessible).

Weeb sh..tuff? Have any of you watched the Appleseed movie? I personally really enjoyed it, as well as the comic. And the soundtrack is spot on

Patreon video idea: Smash or Pass for Dark Souls NPC's. Looking at you Ornifex.

Steady Goblin Wood

IF they are doing smash brothers, and this movie is in space. They are probably trying to get the original 8 characters set up and Samus + Kirby are both in space. Wouldn't be surprised if they reveal fox to drop one of them in as a surprise.

and Hades 2 dropping on GamePass is huge! I can't wait :D

Inverse Skies

I’d be more impressed with fox if they got the original puppets they used for starfox’s original snes game back out of storage and waved them around.

Any hot takes on the tech/social media news of this week -- Sora being discontinued and Meta being found liable for causing depression, anxiety & body dysmorphia. Both feel like tentative good news to me, even though I know it's not the end of the story by any means.
