What are your thoughts on Sony's new additional DRM check for digital games on PS4 and PS5 that is in response to a PlayStation refund exploit?

It's just a one time check before giving permanent access. Sony took 3 days to give an official response and people ran away with misinformation. Steam has a similar check for purchases, requiring you to be online when you first launch.

Nintendo's about the only one that I can play the "favorite exclusive of each gen" game with since their games never go anywhere else. I don't play much of Sony's first or second party games, and a lot of those aren't so exclusive as they used to be. A lot of my favorites debuted on PlayStation *insert number here* but either got ported later, launched multi-plat, or had some kind of re-release down the line that was no longer exclusive. There's a spring sale wrapping up, and I grabbed Death Stranding DC for PS5 (had not played the original on PS4) and that still won't count as an exclusive for Sony despite being published by them since there's a PC release as well.

What are your initial gut reactions to the new Resi movie teaser that dropped today and Zach Cregger's breakdown? With his desire to tell a story within the Racoon City event while not directly adapting the games and his comments about focusing on evoking the feelings of playing the games do we feel like we are in good hands?

So far I am enjoying Saros. I really enjoyed Returnal so this is really scratching that itch. Using the trigger haptic feedback for different weapon modes took some getting use to but i like how it feels. I will say, more tentacles than I anticipated.

After playing returnal so recently, does kc see any immediate tweaks or additions that really change up the formula with saros? Or is like slay the spire 2 or hades 2, kinda just more of 1? Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that.
