Definitely not Albert Einstein.

Is Sigmar a Mega Man reference?

Ultraczar

Have Yahtz do Nier next. With some whisky or brandy. He's going to need it.

"Ooh, I hated all the words in that sentence." You know I do somewhat judge the lore of series I'm less familiar with by how quickly they go from potentially interesting to completely laughable and yes, that opening salvo does make Mega Man the current record holder. Multiversal mobile gacha game, indeed.

Metal Gear next would be awesome

Can't get to any of the exclusive content. Patreon video window insists I need to "Sign in to Confirm you're not a bot". Click the YouTube symbol and the video's not there. I'm guessing Google put something in the way of Patreon video embeds.

Marty Sliva

I added a link in the post description. Can you check and see if that works for you?

geldonyetich

Thanks Marty, the link did work. (The mysteries of replying to a reply in Patreon took me a little getting used to though.)

Marty Sliva

Nice! I feel like you brought this up before, so thanks for the reminder. Nick and I will try our best to remember to post links in the body of the posts alongside the embeds, but please just holler at me if we ever forget.

Late to the party here, but technically Yahtz' last comment is basically what happens in the Battle Network timeline. They don't pursue robots and instead pursue network technology leading to such scenarios as *checks notes* dishwashers capable of suffocating people to death, ordinary every day household appliances being turned into flamethrowers, and water filtration systems that can be easily hacked and poison the cities' water supply.
