Picked up Star Wars Zero Company and really enjoying it so far. Would be interested if you guys could go into the furlough situation around it and how it’s similar/different to other game dev layoffs we constantly hear about.

It'll just be Control Resonant for me! Then I'm hoping to check out the new God of War games after for the link in mythology and to play my first PS exclusives beyond Astro's Playroom!

Just this month I've got Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and Trails in the Sky SC Remake, and for some reason they are coming out the same damn day. I've also got my eyes on Tales of Eternia Remaster in late October, so I am set for fall and possibly all the way to the holidays.

Just got the MGS collection vol2. The plan is to listen to you guys talk about the latest games while I do a playthrough of 1-5. I'm thinking to do in-universe chronological order so I don't burn out before peace walker which is the only one Ive never been able to play until now. Then it'll be Ocarina remake time, I'll not have it said I don't play new games

I've been watching orbitals for a while. I'm total sucker for couch coop adventures. I'm in my 30s now and my childhood best friend and I always find the time to experience these kind of games together. Top of my list.

I'll be hitting No Man's Sky's Cosmos update at launch, and Warframe Operation Plague Star will also be happening this month, too

I picked up a steelbook copy of No Man's Sky's OG 1.0 PS4 release for roughly $20 and playing just that with my PS5 offline gave perspective on No Man's Sky's history and how it was overhated at launch, even though there was still plenty to healthily criticize about it, which I'm happy that Hello Games responded to said healthy criticism with 10 years of free updates and still going😄🧡😊

Lil' Cass (CJ)

Play Astro Bot, which is also a PS5 exclusive that's very very fun😄🧡😊

Lil' Cass (CJ)

It's great to hear you and your childhood best friend still finding time to spend together as adults😄🧡😊

I'll be saving that until I've played a bunch of exclusives! Think it'll be a bit more fun that way with all the nods! 1 year anniversary of getting a PS5 could be a fun time to do that!

Steady Goblin Wood

It's tough but we do what we can. I'm really lucky that we were able to stay friends for 30 years. Our last playthrough was Heavenly Bodies lol

Juicy Jeff

Well Dweller is dropping this month, trying to hurriedly finish Crypt Custodian after I slammed out Islets. Unfortunately the Fully & Post Rambo coverage of Mortal Shell 2 might create another hurdle in my backlog. Damn you Second Wind! ✊️

Kaxen

it only counts as a September release with the 3 day early access but Ace Combat 8 is the fall release that has been on my mind the most

Insomnia Inc

Here I am still running through the horror show that is the Stalker 2 DLC(horror in a good way, it's freakin fantastic) I think next up is gonna be the plague tale prequel, looks really fun. I need to see some opinions on dawnwalker cause it's $95 cdn right now... which what

Inverse Skies

(Looks up from the 1997 Sega saturn game langrisser iv which was never released outside of Japan) “huh, that’s a lot of games” (looks back down again).

Fuzzy Freestyle

I chose Onimusha as my September game and am excited to play it when it goes live for me at 10 tonight. Played the first demo, but not the expanded demo, that was a weird move. I've been revisiting the originals and forgot how cool it was they had Jean Reno in the third game.

These two months between September and October are jam-packed with games. This is fairly normal for this time of year, but it still feels abnormally dense. Is there going to be a breaking point, or are genre fans so siloed and spoiled for choice within their fav genre that these games aren't truly competing with each other outside of basic attention
