Comparing it to other arcade racers like the original Podracer, Burnout 3, & Split/Second: Is Galactic Racer a good title for those of us who miss old racing games or does it fail to live up to its potential/genre?

Well the wife and I are dressing the baby up as a dinosaur and we're doing haggard caveman/woman so that's fun #toomanygames

We have seen the Star Wars skin stretched over the bones of Soulslike, X-com and Burnout now with success. What genre do you guys want to see the brand attempt next? Perhaps a cozy farming/survival simulator starring Yoda on Dagobah?

Star wars games are good again? What a time to be alive. Has anyone tried the multiplayer of racers? How is it?

I've always loved racing games. From Need For Speed, MX vs ATV and Star Wars Racing back in the day to Forza Horizon and more recently on KC's recommendation Screamers. It feels like we are slowly moving towards racing games with hard gimmicks. Forza's open world, Mario Karts item system and even stuff like Kirby's Air Riders 2 button controls. Do you guys feel like racing games NEED these gimmicks? Or if just a straight up - no nonsense racing game would sell or find an audience in today's video game market? Also shout out to OnRush. A lovely gem that never had its time to shine.

If it’s a spiritual successor to burnout does that mean that you can deliberately crash anakins podracer and watch a replay of it crumpling satisfyingly?

Did anyone play N.Gen Racing on PS1? Thumping club music while you raced decommissioned fighter jets? I would be down for this if it compared to that game.

There's a fine line between fixing problems once you get a few thousand new perspectives and appeasing the loudest people. Consumers, as a rule, very rarely know what we want until we have it. What we do know is what we dont want, we just dont know how to fix it. Clear as mud

I played Townfall modded so enemies did not hear me and I could one hit kill them with a melee weapon. I could still die because they move quickly and erratically when I am coming up behind them, but I found it much more enjoyable. Too bad that approach unknowingly locked me into the bad ending, since I guess you are supposed to avoid them instead of kill all of them. I had a blast though!

I've been waiting for a game like this for years!

Does this game have enough single player content to essentially be a full package of its own? I love revisiting games and nothing makes me sadder then five years down the track if I wanted to play this game and there’s no online community anymore, with not enough single player content to justify booting it up.

I think paradise is good, but not really a burnout game. Miss 1/2/3
