The affirmations at the start about nightmares were great, I didn't know I needed to hear it until Dmitri said it. The flirting is so cute and I love Dmitri's slow progression and acceptance of romance and his relationship with the listener. It's slowburn but in terms of acceptance rather than a true slowburn of a relationship, in a way? It seems like he's constantly surprised each time the listener shows him they value him as an equal and through all of it he's still so reassuring, saying he'll stay if that's what the listener wants, doing whatever he can to help. He deserves so much love and care and honest affection aaaaaaaa the sweetest. "It's been a long time since I've held someone without further intimacy involved...and then you, melting my little heart" kicking my feet giggling that was such a gut punch right before the sweetest most romantic thing ever (gut punch in a good way).
