Yeah... this was inevitable wasn't it? For those unaware, originally my upload schedule for audio roleplays was every Wednesday and Saturday. From September 2023 to December 2023 I uploaded 3 audios a week because of Youtube starting to demonitse ASMR videos and me losing some income. This schedule only lasted 3 months because I very quickly burnt myself out, and I'm autistic so with that came autistic burnout, and messed with my stress and mental health. But in June 2024 I started uploading 3 times a week again because of videos being demonitised and my following on Youtube and Patreon started to become slower and slower, and i feared that my income would go down. And I've been doing 3 uploads a week this time around for much longer than 3 months, for 17 months this time. And for this January 2026 I temporarily went back to 2 uploads a week as I had been away in December and didn't have time to record enough in advance...

And now... Here we are. I haven't re-opened commissions yet since coming back to the UK. I haven't recorded any audios since I've been back. I've felt unable to by some force that just knows I won't be able to keep up. 3 audios a week, plus on average 3+ commissions a week, plus my weekly Etsy orders, plus wanting to start script fills, plus wanting to give you guys more story driven audios and new OCs but that means time to work on writing and drawing, plus wanting to give you guys more frequent art of my OCs, plus working on my website and OC wiki, plus trying to stream 3 times a week, plus wanting to upload videos onto my emptymasks channel including video essays I promised you guys, plus wanting to give you more animation memes and animatics of my OCs, plus wanting to do more vocal covers, plus make my streams better and more engaging with new overlays and models... plus having a life and getting to spend time with my partner and friends and not working all day every day of the week from when I wake up until I go to bed with only taking a day off if I get sick or have a rare day where I go out shopping once every few months... All on top of trying to move and needing time for phone calls and property viewings and getting rejected over and over again. I've been cutting out so many stickers and doing the same motion over and over again to post to audiochan that I've re-triggered my repetitive strain injury I got from doing too my Etsy work and now doing anything with my right arm hurts, and I'm right handed, typing up this post is causing me a lot of physical pain, that I did to myself, from overworking. Last time it took 2 months until I my right arm stopped being in constant pain... I can't keep doing this to myself.

Having three weeks off from work to go visit my partner, I thought I would come back refreshed and ready to work, but instead I just feel so intimidated by what seems like an impossible amount of things to do and keep on top of.

So. Would you guys leave, unsubscribe from Youtube and cancel your Patreon subscriptions, if I returned to my original 2 videos a week, Wednesday and Saturday, schedule? I would point out you're not getting less value for money on your Patreon subscriptions because when I switched from 2 audios a week to 3 audios a week (and also when I switched from 1 spicy audio a month to 2 spicy audios a month) I. Never. Put. My. Prices. Up. I have continued to post more and more despite never increasing what I am charging on Patreon. I don't know any audio roleplay creators who post as much as I do, even regular big ASMR channels post about once a week at most. And my Patreon fledglings will still get 2 spicy audios every month, dropping to 2 audios a week won't change that. It just means 2/12 audios will be spicy instead of 2/16.

I was considering making this a poll and letting people vote... but I can't. The fact is either I drop to 2 uploads a week or I cancel commissions forever and never re-open them and continue to stress myself out over how I feel unable to work at this pace. And I've felt this way for a long time. You guys saw me worrying about my seasonal depression, offering a discount on commissions if you let them be public to help me keep up with posting on time... I've felt badly burnt out since around August and I think it's shown in my audios and not posting new OCs and not posting as many story-driven audios because my brain's just been fried. And I'm scared of losing Patreon members, I'm scared of my Youtube payout going down by 33%, but I'm hoping people stay interested in commissions and I make enough money doing that it makes up for the drop in Youtube income.

And to help with my overworking RSI pain, I have finally bought a Silhouette sticker cutting machine so now I can rest my arm and hopefully heal and start releasing new sticker designs and have the option of making sticker sheets now too. If there's any fandoms you've wanted to see me make pixel chibi and badges stickers of, let me know and I'll consider it. So if I'm going to do things to help with my physical pain... I should do the same for my mental pain.

Custom audio commissions are now officially back open, please as always read my full TOS on my Carrd and message me on Ko-Fi first before ordering anything as we must discuss your ideas and give me the right to refuse it before sending me money. There are discounted rates for if you allow your commission to also be posted to Youtube/Patreon.

I hope you guys understand I've held off on making this decision for a long time and finally it's got to a point where I'm sinking and I have to make myself a raft, and dropping from 3 uploads a week is my only raft. I'm really sorry if this disappoints or upsets anyone. Like I said Patreon fledglings are still going to get 2 exclusive audios every month, that's not changing, so hopefully no one feels like they're paying the same for less. I hope with doing this I will have more time to work on more commissions as I want to be able to offer that for you guys and I make more money from even a public commission than I make as ad revenue on a single video so hopefully this will help me out finically too and not hurt me. And I hope with less stress on my brain I can make better audios, quality over quantity, and more extra stuff like more art and animations and video essays and more. I just can't work at the pace I am currently and I don't want to stop because I like this job and I like interacting with you guys, so this is the step I have to take so I don't just give up on making audios all together. I hope that's okay. And I'm sorry. But I hope you'll continue to support me.

Two audios a week is perfectly fine, your health is absolutely the most important thing. Please don't burn yourself out for our sakes :(

Max

well im definitely staying you're like my favourite content creator your health always comes first ❤️

Juzu

I wouldn't unsubscribe for the life of me. Your audios have had a bigger positive impact on my life, mental health and happiness than I can explain, paying you is my way to say thank you for helping me. I totally understand needing to do less for your health, I took nearly a year off of my office job during my burnout. Do what you need to do stay happy and healthy. You have a huge backlog here and on YouTube for people to listen to, it's enough for me and probably others too. I'd rather have you post less and know you are happy than more new audios but knowing it's burning you out. I'm 100% behind the decisions you make to take care of yourself.

Pixen

Do whatever you need to 💜 Burnout's a bitch and you can't just push through it, I know I wouldn't unsubscribe or anything for that

Cinnamonix

I cant speak for others but I'm here for any content you put out no matter the amount!

Help_I_Can’t_Sleep

I personally would not cancel my subscription if you only did 2 audios a week. You have probably hundreds of audios already posted, I one less audio a week is going to make a difference for me. Your physical and mental health is FAR more important. I’m sorry, but anyone who would rather have 3 audios a week even though it meant you were burnt out and miserable, isn’t a true fan. I wish you all the best and I hope you are able to find a healthy balance in your life!

mars

I always look forward to your new audios but I will be just as happy with audios coming out less frequently if it means you're getting the rest you need. Honestly even just having full access to the full catalog of your spicy audios and knowing I'm supporting a creator whose work I adore is worth the fledgling price to me. I really hope that this upload schedule change is helpful for you!

Midromiel

Personally two audios a week Is absolutely no problem. Do what you need for your health and take care of yourself. Health and friends are so much more important. Do take care of yourself and please don’t burn yourself up.

koyail

I’m here for whatever comes out, I love your content and community so im here for the long run 💜🪿

Collective Unit System

Two audios is fine. Your health is always the most important thing. -Quinn

Kade2025

Please don't stress yourself out anymore, we love you too much

Taiger.

Health comes first! You're doing incredibly much, I think this is a valid change and it truly is still more than enough content for me personally. I'll stay here until the end of times probably

Sapphire Valentine

Your health always comes first! take care of yourself 🧡

Satan is a real man

These characters got me through my worst days. I owe that to you. I'm sticking around till the end, dude

Randi Tychosen

Of course you have to take care of yourself, so that's completely understandable And. Two audios a week is perfectly fine

Meris ASMR

Mental abd physical health comes first. Take care

Starlight

You don't have to apologies, you do so much for us 🙏🏻 2 audios is more than fine Take care of yourself, this is more important <3

Elias

I think I speak for most, if not all of your fans; we'd rather have less uploads and have you feel well, than more uploads and you burning yourself to the ground. Take care and dont worry about us, we'll keep supporting you no matter what.

mewmin

Your content has helped me through some of the roughest times of my life , I would not consider leaving if you went down to one upload per week or less, two is more than alright, don't worry! Your health, no matter if physical or mental, should always come first ☀️

Drake Eyes

Do what's best for you. I have seen many artist disappear after severe burnout and I don't want that to happen to you.

Jade C.

I don't comment often, but your audios are some of the best sleep aids I've even come across. Even if I mostly re-listen to older audios, I'm gonna be sticking around for awhile!! The amount of uploads isn't why I joined, it was the quality of the writing for the characters I relisten to daily :)

WolfWithABook

Mental and physical health comes first, always. And yes, having the money to pay the bills is a big part of that but you can’t enjoy that if you are wearing yourself paper thin. I hope people will stick around (I know I will for as long as I have the income for it) and appreciate a thriving artist instead of one who is three seconds from burning out. Please stay safe and be kind to yourself

hyaciinth

The most important thing will always be your mental and physical health, you already do a lot for us and I definitely won't be unsubscribing if you drop to 2 audios. Take care of yourself Prince <3

AHundredBunnies

I typically have too much anxiety to comment, but I want to let you know going back to 2 audios a week is perfectly okay. Burnout is a hell of a thing and you being able to continue creating and living, in whatever way that is, matters much more then the extra audio. I hope you can get more rest and recover, both from burnout and the injury.

witchy_wahine

I’m not leaving. Period. If you uploaded once a MONTH, I will still be here. We want you to be happy, healthy, and confident in what you’re putting out.

prettynymph

speaking as a fellow spoonie, my patronage of your work is not at all based on the amount or frequency of the work you put out but rather a full support of your pursuit of your artistic passions and the stories you create as well as the wish to help contribute towards your moving out fund as you find a place you’d thrive living in. and as an aspiring voice actor who is disabled/chronically ill as well I am fully supportive of you taking the time you need and would not withdraw my financial support on account of a slower posting schedule, being a patron of the arts means allowing the artist to create on their own time and I for one am never anything but grateful to see your posts regardless of if there are more or less of them a week :)

TheMasterOfTea

I started subscribing when it was 2 Audios a month so I won’t unsubscribe. I still think I’m getting my moneys worth and I can still afford to subscribe every month. Take care of yourself, health comes first 🍐

actuallystatic

I am happy to consume two audios a week or even less when I know the creator is actively thinking of their health and setting boundaries to allow time for existing and breathing freely!

Dayton🪞⛓️

You put so much work into churning out tons of content for us. You do A LOT for a singular person. Its totally understandable that youd need to adjust your workload since there is nobody else to pass the workload onto. THANK YOU for everything you do!! I will enjoy your content even more knowing that you are safe, well rested, and able to take time for yourself.

Bi-Knight-Fall

You create so many audios highlighting to us just how important taking breaks and listening to your body and mental wellbeing is deeply important and beneficial to everyone. Your mental and physical and creative health matters too! You do so much for us all, the least we can do is support you as you navigate how to best support yourself and I am more than happy to do so! 💛✨

Musa

Burnout is awful; the more you push yourself the longer it takes to feel alright again. Take care of yourself, Prince. We will be here, regardless of your posting schedule. <3

Lukas

I’m here because I love the things you make, i’ll be here regardless as well as listening on youtube. take care of yourself please! 🩵

Fractured_Ghosts

I’m not going anywhere, Prince! I’m here because I enjoy your content, new and old! I’m so sorry you are feeling this burnt out. Please do not push yourself to unrealistic limits for the sake of your audience. Again, I’m not going anywhere, so please have time to take care of yourself, Prince! 🖤

MadameHuldra

As someone who recently joined? I've been wanting to subscribe to you for a long time to support you and show my appreciation for your audios. You slowing down or even taking a hiatus won't change that, so please take care of your health (both physical and mental, they go hand in hand).

Helios Flame

I'm here for the long hall no matter what. You should absolutely do whatever you need to for your health!

spicybutsad

I'm also staying no matter what! Since I've joined the Patreon more than 3 years ago, I have been constantly inspired, and comforted, and encouraged by your content. And I am so excited to see what other stories and characters you have to share, no matter the pace. What is most important is your health and well-being, and that is worth supporting.

walkintoaster

Not planning on going anywhere anytime soon, personally

dervampireprince

😭 you guys are so sweet. thank you for all your nice words. i was terrified making that announcement, and already upset as i got rejected on yet another apartment this morning, so it's nice to end the day with seeing such nice comments. thank you for your continued support.

maru

We appreciate your work and the way you always let us know what is up 🫶🏻 Take care of yourself Prince!

Laura

I feel like I'm repeating what everyone else is saying, but it's the same for me! All of us would much rather have an audio less a week and know that you're having more time for yourself and your life outside of work

Nico

Im a brand new fledgling but I can say confidently you should always always put yourself first, I’ll definitely not feel cheated in any way and will come back next month!!

Lilly Estacio

I have recently become a fledgling and I’ve been listening to your audios for about a year. I don’t feel upset at all about your changes! We’re all humans. I’m chronically ill and it’s sympathize a lot with how you feel, both mental and physical tolls

Cio401

I’m probably gonna sound like a broken record this point with everyone sharing the same opinions but you’re an extremely hard worker and you deserve breaks!!! I’m going to stay signed up regardless of how many things you upload both because your community is lovely but also because you just seem very passionate about your characters and the stories that you curate. You definitely should put yourself first above all, I’ve started to deal with chronic pain more as of recent and I’ve found that overworking myself only makes it worse. I’m excited to see what new content you make in the future, but please take care of yourself overall.

Sage B Free

It’s all good. Take care of yourself. I just joined and do not feel cheated. Stay present. Getting too far in the future is an instant recipe for stress and debilitating angst. “No”just means next opportunity!

Talia

It was never (at least for me) about the money or the availability of audios that got me to signing up for your Patreon. I’m thankfully in a position where I can spare money without worrying about getting paid. I know I usually lurk, not saying much, but your mental health matters more than anything! Yes, this is a job so you have to treat as one to some extent but unlike others you have a community that’s not gonna leave due to your mental health. You’ve made a safe and accepting community for all of us so it’s only right we give you grace when you need them. Jobs are never easy even if they take place at home, I got overwhelmed myself reading all the work you do or plan to do! If this means you come back 10x stronger mentally and physically in exchange for shorter and less frequent posts then fine by me! You got this! You’ll get back to us when you’re ready and we’ll be here ready for what this year has in store :)

Honeycomb System

like everyone else, im hanging on! 🫡 the price was never an issue (i swear i'm not making myself go broke for you!), and all your audios have been lovely irregardless. you have a humongous catalogue to relisten to anyways, and above all else you deserve to be healthy and happy. even if you went down to once a week, i'd hold on. shit, once a month and you'll see me sticking around. do whatever you need to!

tarragone

i think it’s safe to say that you’ve built a community that cares about the psychological safety and well-being of others and that, of course, includes you. in no way am i speaking for everyone, but you deserve rest. and if this is one avenue that allows you to recover, i hope you’ll be able to achieve that. tldr: yeahhh, i’m not going anywhere. you’re stuck with me, prince :)

Anonymously Made

I plan on staying forever and ever , we love you and care about you

PuppySam

It’s my first month here and I couldn’t be happier with everything you’ve put out. Please take care of yourself, we all love you and hope that things start working out for you soon. I’m here for the long haul and I know a bunch of us are as well. Take care!!

Demeter

I've been around for a few months and have no plans of ever unfollowing. One less audio a week doesn't diminish the value of your work as a whole and it seems everyone agrees. We all would much rather you have time for yourself and get some weight off your shoulders, its important to your health and well being. We all greatly appreciate the hard work you put in ❤❤❤

Percy

I'm so happy that your making this more sustainable for you! I chose to become a patreon sub not because of how much content you put out but because I really appreciate a LGBT+ artist making art that focuses on and is aimed to showcase and uplift queer people. You make me and others like me feel seen and if I have the money I will continue to pay so you can continue to do so, please don't feel rushed or pressured on our account! I hope things get easier and I appreciate all the hard work you do!
