Status update Episode 12 (Patreon)

I wrote dialogue and posed static renders this week. I focused on writing content for the Sage and Jill branches, and in terms of art, I've been working on canon scenes and a free-roam event.

The cutscene animations that have been rendering for about a month are now complete. All PCs are currently working on animations for lewd scenes.

I need to pose more animations soon, likely next week, but I also need to write more lewd scenes for the animation work to proceed smoothly.

The cosmetic poll for Jill ended today, and the winning option was number 3. It will be featured in episode 12. Thanks for voting!

Another poll will start within a few days - it will be a cosmetic poll for Sage.

Hey DIKs, a bit off-topic, but I need to share that. Did you notice that Bella's room after Derek's accident looked EXACTLY the same as in the scene at the beginning of the Halloween episode? I noticed that during a recent replay. It looks as if someone is coming out of the room AFTER the accident happened and all are gone away (maybe to a hospital). Knowing Pink by now, this cannot be a simple reusage of an already developed environment. There must be a connection. What do you think? This is very strange... PS: nice update :-)

For me its: Sage (She has grown the most I think over the course of the game, and because of that look she gives you when you both declare your love to each other) Jill (Her sense of justice just hits me, and growing together as we respect each others traumas and try to be there for each other) Lily (Because of that look she gives you after you tenderly make love to her which obviously messes up her plan to not have feels) Riona (Because of our connection, and also my desire to step in and protect her) Quinn (Because she has also started to show what is beneath the mask)

I am still conflicted about: Josy and Maya (they argue too much to continue and continuing to be the glue feels unhealthy) Bella (As hot as she is the dishonesty feels like a "no go" going forward)

Actually I don't think anyone is coming out of the room. The room Maya opened is the one that has been locked since the first time you enter Bella house. The MC asks Jill about that room but Jill has no idea what's in that room either. I think they're just shook at what could be in that room. In my Bella play through, I've been able to peek inside but not been able to see fully what's in there. Im curious if it has something to do with Bella past relationship. She couldn't talk about her previous relationship without crying and her previous partner left and never came back 3 years ago. Bella definitely has some secrets and I hope this next episode shines light on it. I need to know lol

Hm, I would say that there was definitely someone coming out in the earlier cutscene. But yeah, there are some things that don't add up right now. If there was a person in the room, they would not simply stand there saying "oh". And in the earlier cutscene, nobody is around. I don't know and I am curious as hell to find it out. As it was the cliffhanger of the last episode, it will definitely be revealed in the next one.

As much as I love Josy and Maya individually, polyarmory relationships aren't for me and I don't believe it can work on the long run. People are just way too jeallous and possessive and it's already hard to build a relationship when you're only two. Now, imagine with a third one. That's why I don't like that path as much as the others. It doesn't feel like it can last especially since Josy is madly in love with the MC, but her relationship with Maya is wavering. It feels like the MC is a homebreaker in such relationship.

It felt like her husband is coming back to haunt her... literally. :) I'm still not sure what was so terrible to find in that room though. I suspect it's either stuff belonging to her husband that she packed up here or maybe she was pregnant and had prepared a room for her future kid, but lost the baby. She may have kept the bed and the other stuff there as a sort of memorial. Maybe that and the growing tensions with her husband might have caused him to leave suddenly. Loss is quite a big theme in BaD so it's not farfetched (the MC lost his mother, Sage lost her biological parents, Jill lost her sister, Bella lost her husband, Maya is losing her mother and wasn't far from figuratively losing her father as well, etc.) It's pure speculation though. BTW, in the scene you're talking about in the Halloween episode that seems to happen shortly after Derek goofy attempt of "sabrer le champagne", the person entering the living room was coming from outside the house and not from the interior of the room. So, if it's indeed the husband returning home, he wasn't sequestrated in that dark room for 3 years. :D

@Philippe D.R. This is part of my problem with their relationship as well. As far back as Episode 1 they were already on the rocks, and since Episode 4 MC has been the glue. Josy's focus on MC feels like obsession more than healthy relationship to me. Playing their path leaves me wondering every single time. Sage and Jill are focused paths to me.

I am pretty sure, the person came from the room, given the angle of the living room. But you are right, it is not logical that he was there all the time. Maybe it is really her husband returning after the accident and he entered the house and is looking around. Regarding the interior, I also think it could be some kind of a prepared room for a baby. But could be everything and I was so often wriong with guesses.

@Malathus. Yep, that's why I'm uncomfortable dating Josy and Maya despite finding them very charming. I feel like that I'm an intruder who is harming them. Jill and Sage are my favorites too for the same reasons than you.
