Happy Friday! I've had a nice week working with my new main PC, which I named Quinn PC. Hopefully that's not bad karma or something.

I've worked with the latest DAZ alpha build and continued to optimize the workflow for the new generation of GPUs that I will be using. Aside from a handful of new bugs to navigate, it's going well. I've figured out a way to still work with old DAZ on the new PC while I wait for the scripts I need to get updated to the new DAZ version.

I've partly worked on animations, but this week - again - I've been working on something special I can't share yet. Which makes for an uninteresting update this week, but once I'm able to share what it is, I think many will be very happy about it. It's Season 3 related; I can tell you that much.

I hope to complete this special thing next week and return to business as usual afterward. Everything else is going well. The new animations that get completed are looking nice, and I'm having a blast working right now. Haha, I don't even care that it's summer outside.

Quinn is my favourite girl in BAD for multiple reasons (funny enough she pissed me off at the very beginning and I ignored her on my first PT. Only after that I was like "let's check that content I ignored before" and it was over for me, Quinn all the way, my ride or die). Unfortunately DOC said it before there are main LIs and there are side girls and there's no changing that. Now it does't mean Quinn won't get a "proper" ending, she already got a lot of screen time for a "side girl". Main LIs are a part of core content/main story and their plots are somehow or significantly intertwined with that canon content, so Quinn won't be that. She's is still the Quinn of our Hearts. I'm glad to hear there are more Quinn fans out there and not just those who see her as cold, manipulative bitch

Not sure but I really like it suits her. Her face is a bit strange on that render (more rounded) and her face expression is like surprised, I guess but that hairstyle is great I hope DPC will use it

@Jacek, I agree 💯with you, felt the same about Quinn in the beginning, but that changed for me also playing the Others path, i love bad Girls, i think i played the Others path 4 or 5 times till today… She is my favorite Girl of all, only Lilly coming close… What Doc is doing with his Game is certainly his thing, but i think after this post he certainly knows for himself that Quinn is one of his best Creations ! And i say it again - most of the guys here would love to see Quinn as a Main Li in the next Season…i am certainly one of them and this would make me love your AVN even more, if thats even possible… Just my 2 cents.

I get it and I agree but this is how it is in DPC games main girls and side girls are set in stone based on canon content that's all. DPC said it in Q&A or somewhere else I can't remember but like I said screen time, endings etc that's a bit different. Sure main girls will get all of it and more but depending on DPC plans for a particular character she may get more or less of content in S4 bit that's also set in stone (mostly) at this point in the game's life cycle as far as I know (events of the game etc are already written down, DPC has some sort of book/main script for that). When it comes to "bed girls" that depends on your definition really. For me a "bed girl" is a naughty, very liberated, slutty girl. In that regard Sarah in example is more of a "bed girl" for me. While Quinn is a "bed girl" per that definition too what I meant before was that many people see Quinn as straight up evil girl, evil character and I'm one of those who see how broken and flawed of a person Quinn is and while acknowledging all of her mistakes and very questionable decisions (and fuck ups) I see more and I see potential and time thanks to which she could potentially turn her life around, provided she wants it and she puts on an effort

Honestly I love BAD. The world that DPC has created and I'm trying to appreciate the characters within it. I try to treat them "as people" even tough as creations they all have pre determined traits of character and their faith is mostly pre determined too (you can only leave so much room for players choices) but I think character building from DPC is so great it leaves a bit of a room for some discussions, speculations and theories. Also I played a lot of good AVNs in that sense and I love when a certain character arc/story makes you stop and question what you thought of them before or at the beginning. I had it happened to me a few times and it's a testament to the great work game devs put in when creating those characters. In a way it's different than in IRL cuz' you stop, you're thinking about it you say I misjudged them or I put a label on somebody or I was just straight up wrong but it's a game so you can reload the save and see what happens. In life you don't have that "luxury". We're all quick to judge or even dismiss someone and ultimately it's our decision but we lose something and we don't even know what we've lost maybe the person we labeled "bed" or "evil" would be one of the most interesting or even the best person we've met but we'll never find out

Quick side note all of the things I said about Quinn and probably partially why you said I'm so passionate about all of this it stems from one simple fact, Quinn is the most realistic girl in BAD and maybe in all of AVN. Talking about her, discussing her choices just comes natural and even in BAD I can't say that about most of the girls. Quinn comes the closest to the real girl put inside a video game.

@Tomvery - I will certainly do that, but at the moment my Team is 2 men short, so this means 12 - 16 hours per day, as soon the replacements are here i have more time, but i am looking forward to it for sure !

I already tried and well thanks a lot. It seem quite toxic. Sure people are passionate about BAD I'm not gonna judge them for that but it was easy for a heated discussion to go from that to people tryin' to tell me how I don't understand a difference between main girl and a side girl (funny, huh?) which turned into others "defending" me (I didn't need that) and others attacking those from my "tribe" and bashing one guy cuz' he liked Rio. It was way too much drama for me. Difference between Patreon and Discord discussions is night and day at least from my experience

I don't like Quinn for several reasons (mostly because she fucks people over) and some that are beyond her control (Lana's death is her dad's (Rox) fault but it looks like she wants to follow in her dad's footsteps). I am wondering if there is going to be a pathway for MC to save her from her self-destructive ways. I doubt it.

Don't get me wrong as of right now I think she's doomed (she fucked up multiple times) in the same time I don't think she's beyond saving (even saving herself as she's actively avoiding MC's help - again for various reasons). You may be right she's a "example" kind of path what happens when you constantly make wrong choices but I'm not sure we'll see such a predictable, one sided path in BAD when it's done. I anticipate some difficult choices and sacrifices from MC if you want to help her if not then be it, you do you

Yeah guys honestly...i give a big dump about the technical questions of an AVN, whether its the difference between a sidegirl or a main LI, really thats shit for nerds, i am only interested that what i play gives me a good time and let me forget the shit i have to deal out there on a daily basis at work, and believe me i have seen it all - people get fucked over every day in masses, most people give a shit about it and only react when it makes them look good... But yes the world is a much more toxic place than some decades ago, but when people get toxic over nothing that annoys me and makes me angry... And @ Teufelhunde DJI - i give a damn about Quinn fucking people over, some people want to be fucked over, thats reality and the people who do this on a large scale get away with it most of the time....but at least we are talking about a game here .

Wise words just gotta tell you I'm not letting Quinn off the hook here. She's my ride or die for sure but if there's an option later down the road to give her and earful I'm takin' that opportunity. Even if she realizes she fucked up that ain't stopping me. Sometimes you gotta hear some harsh words from people that care about you even if just to hear the outside perspective. Just like her "talk" with Rio. For Rio it was a wake up call, for Quinn.... it seems like it too (she's not a psychopath so it got to her) but you gotta be held responsible one way or the other, I guess we'll find out. I mean aside from doin' time I don't wanna visit her in prison for the next 25 to life

In episode 1, when we first met her, she had that hairstyle. In a few other scenes, too. I really missed the Sage with loose hair and was pleasently surprised that she had this look again in ep. 11.

Although I love that outfit, I kind of prefered her with her hairs attached. I don't know why, but it really looks good on her although I love her hairs set loose too. And it looks like a sport outfit, so having her hairs attached is more practical. But Sage always look gorgeous and radiant whatever she chooses to wear or how she does her hairs. I'm glad that work is going foward and that you are slowly sorting out the new version of DAZ and how to deal with the compatibility issues with the older scripts. I hope that we will get to know soon what is the secret project about Season 3 that you are talking about. I'm very much intrigued.
