This image is unviewable on a properly adjusted monitor. Had to tweak in Photoshop to see it.

I use a high end calibrated monitor. Looks perfect to me... Did you check your brightness settings`? (Double checked on my crappy cellphone too. Looks great.)

Interesting. I calibrate mine for use in my photography business. Photoshop reported everything in the image was between 0-45 with pure black from 46 to 266. I spread it all out and it looks fine now. I would suspect my monitor is failing but everything else looks fine. I'll have to investigate further. If it is only me, then I guess something is off at my end. For comparison, Teaser 2 below looks prefect.

Thanks for the report. I use mine too in digital illustration / photography related work. I will double check my retouch on the image to make it a tad brighter.

There, I updated the image in this post. Hope it looks better for you now. I can't go lighter without it affecting noise.

Yes, that is better. It occurred to me that you may have WANTED it to be very dark. I preferred at least a little light to see Liam's skin tone, perhaps in street lighting. The new adjustment comes pretty close to what I made in PS. I liked a little more to see the pink in the sky on the left side and make out the stars. Perception is a funny thing. ;-)

Yes, it was almost pure black to my eye. A least now you can make out what is there. If you haven't already, try downloading it and viewing full screen, after dark or in a darkened room. Your eyes will better adjust to seeing dark things. I used photo software to brighten it up a little more and it is a nice image, just very dark.

Yeah on my screen atm, it's brighter than what I wanted but the histogram looks better now. So this is how it will be.
