Thank you all for your generous support and feedback!

I've been busy correcting the bugs/typos you've found, writing the walkthrough and started episode 6 development.

I wanted to address a few common questions that I've gotten this last week.

My answers to these questions are:

Steam gets full seasons, not individual episodes.

Steam saves aren't compatible with the Patreon version, vice versa.

You can't patch the Steam version, you will get errors.

The Steam walkthrough, pressing 'g' key version, is exclusive to Steam during development.

The walkthrough will be released sometime during June. I'm currently trying to optimize the development by getting episode 6 up and rolling, render-wise, and finding time to write the walkthrough.

Please, keep reporting any bugs or typos you find. I appreciate it very much and I rather hear a report too many times than no time at all.

Next Friday, $5 tier patrons get access to the patch to upgrade their game from v0.4.0/v0.4.1/v0.4.2 to v0.5.0. If you don't have any of those versions, you will need to get the game from the $10 tier and then you can patch the game in the future. I can't release the full game for the $5 tier because of Steam rules.

After all tiers have gotten access to v0.5.0 the polls for episode 6 will start.

First before I get into re-posting my bug report here, I just want to say that after playing through 8 episode 4 saves with episode 5 update, that I am still enjoying the game, the story, all of it. And once again, I love your work ethic. And thank you for giving us more Riona, Camila, and now Lily as well. Much appreciated. .........Bug Report. This only happens in the Yoga scene with Jill and Bella at Bella's. The music will often get a little choppy and the renders/animations do not often transition smoothly like the rest of the game. Once Bella leaves, if I choose to stay with Jill, it has cleared up by that point. I am using the PC version with Zorin OS 15 (linux based on unbuntu).

Same here. It will be worth the wait when it lands. Contradiction maybe? Perhaps. But yeah, like you I can't wait to play it, but don't want to rush the man's work.

Did anyone else experience this? Please comment. It sounds like your PC is struggling with the animations to me. I haven't experienced any choppy music or laggy animations in that part. And it isn't different in any regard to any other lewd scene. I.e, same resolution and image processing. Can you test to play that part again, but in windowed mode. Does it improve? (if it does, it's your GPU struggling)

I actually bought it on steam and then came and joined your Patreon and replayed everything just for episode 5. Couldn’t get enough of the story and everything. The Patreon page is likely not the best place to be talking about Ep 5. The spoilers channel in the Discord would be more appropriate, especially considering there are a lot of people that still haven't played, nor have access to it yet.

I tried it again and if I let it run on "auto" it doesn't happen much. I am now wondering if I am reading it too fast and clicking faster than it is ready. Again it's the only section I've had the issue. But this is an older laptop with a Geforce GT 630M 2GB, Core i7, 8GB RAM. It could be the GPU. It's the same in windowed mode btw. It's just weird that the yoga section of episode 5 is the only part of the game it's struggling with. All other animations, etc are fine for the episode as well as the rest of the game.

Yeah, the photos still haven't been resolved yet, nor Sage's issue with Chad. Although the latter might have been hinted if you kiss Sage toward the end of episode 5. It could be misleading.

I should also add that Being a DIK seems to run the same for me in windowed or full scene, but I've noticed some other VNs/games that this laptop really didn't like running in windowed mode. With WVM 0.7.6. there are some animations that cause the game to crash for me even with full screen. You might have nailed it pointing to the GPU.

Would you be willing to check the timing of the cooking mini-game? It looks to me as if I'm clicking in the center of the green, but the pancakes always end up burned. Also, would you be willing to extend the timing on the painting mini-game? Or give us an option in the settings to do that? My arthritis slows me considerably. Other than those two issues, Episode 5 is fantastic as usual. Excellent work.

just finished all my playthroughs with different girls as goal, i just love this game, one thing tho, as th MC mention himself at the end of chapter 5 at bella when thinking of girls he should go for, maybe other HOTS. i RLY wish for an outcome where you can get to date camilla or maybe one of the others... but Camilla is my favorite... other than that keep up making this GREAT game.

I experienced a slight lag for like 1 sec during some animations but overall very smooth. The pancake came for me was a little bit difficult at first but got a lot easier.

I agree, hopefully the next chapter explores more into the details of Isabella's life, and more on the relationship that Isabella and Jill have.

Thanks for the feedback. I've tested the timing thoroughly. A tip is to go for the middle on the arrow's way back down instead of the way up. It gives you a better reaction time. I'll look into the timer and see if it can be tweaked slightly. This is the first report I've gotten that it's not enough, this far.

There were a few spots (I did not pay a lot of attention to specifically where as it wasn't a huge deal, but I did notice it as I don't remember this happening in Episodes 1-4 anywhere) where there would be a briefly choppy transition from one render or animation to the next, but it would generally clear up quickly (in 1 second or less). I have a pretty beefy rig if it matters - specs if helpful- 2x 1080 Tis, 6850k CPU, and 32GB of RAM)

I literally just got done playing that game for the 2nd run through - what I found as far as timing - like Dr P said above, first, let the arrow ride up to the top and on its way down, I usually try to click it around midway in the yellow (about halfway between the green and the top of the bar) - that will usually net me a good pancake. :)

Ya, Mona and Camilla are awesome. Cathy is honestly pretty cool, too, she looks really darn good in a tight dress. Can't wait for Episode 6 to see if she wears something showing her booty for me in class, lol. :D

Ya I am curious to see what'll happen now...we've seen the first txt from Quinn to MC now where she was actually...nice. She's probably going have more interaction with the MC now with her little "conflict" with the other DIK (trying to avoid specifics for spoiler reasons) that went down. I think Quinn has the best body in the game of all the girls...would love to see MC have some opportunities with her.

I agree completely, although honestly, it's probably good for him to take a little break from writing the scripts and doing the development non-stop so he doesn't burn out on it.

Ya one thing I enjoyed in the earlier episodes was that time Jill & MC played dungeons and gremlins or whatever it was with the nerds - that was kinda cool. Jill and Sally both looked awesome in their little outfits.

Yeah, that was pretty cool. I'm pretty sure that was Sally at one of the DIK parties. I think she was dancing with Jamie, might have been Leon, but seemed like her whoever it was with. It's the one you can dance with Sage.

If it turns out that this really is a hardware thing and not a bug, and it gets to be more of a problem, I'll just move the game over to my primary gaming rig. It has a i7-9700k, 64gm ram, and a RTX 2080.

While I agree that more work on episodes sound better as I can always replay with the walkthrough later, it sounds like it DPC already has a healthy cycle established.

@ForceLord I totally agree! Jill is still not 100% ready to get a relationship with the MC, but i think she wants to, and to play that song for her will truly open her eyes. I cant wait for EP6! I just hope its more Jill in ep6!

Ya I saw her there, too, which was interesting...hard to imagine nerds being at a party like that. It definitely has raised my suspicion level with Magnar and his crew. I'm expecting some kind of shoe to drop at some point implicating some people we're not really expecting in some dirty stuff.

im pretty sure that quinn did the blackmail and set it up with steven to get chad out so that dawe would be in charge. why im not sure but jill walking by seems to convenient and tybalt keeps good track of her so it would be decently easy for steven to figure out when jill walks at night. the fight is meaningless if jill doesnt walk by and see it

yeah i think she did the cathy cluck and the chad fight what i cant quite figure out is her inherit fascination with the MC because it seems like she really has started to care less about messing with maya and more about making her get closer to you. the list she gave maya is difficult for maya but she doesnt know that because she thinks that you and maya are together. so it seems like she wanted you to help maya with the list but the only thing i can come up with is she is trying to make you the leader of the diks so that she can make you pay her more than rusty or tommy are willing to pay. either by holding the tuition over mayas head or by holding the videos over both of ur heads to get what she wants

I would love to have the second date with Jill in episode 6 *_* either cooking for her, playing the song, going to her concert, anything with her that works towards a relationship. We didn't get a "sweet hot love" scene because we have to take it slow with our best girl; she's not shy about kissing though, she didn't go for the cheek this time =) Even if I want more with her, I like the pacing.

There seem to be a lot of people who want to add voiceovers. I can think of at least two reasons not to add this element. One is that we would no longer be able to name the MC and we would no longer be able to create pet names for use during the lewd scenes, which are two features I like very much. The second reason is that bad voiceovers are much worse than no voiceovers. DPC would need to hire talented professional voice actors who also can speak perfect English (American accented English, no less, since the game seems to be set in the USA). It may also be a bit more challenging to find talented voice actors willing to voice a sex game. Assuming talented voice actors able to speak American English and willing to voice lewd scenes can be found, they will not come cheap. I, for one, like creating the voices in my head.
