Enjoy slowly drifting clouds across all of the world maps.

Better World Select: Animated Clouds update (version 2.1) brings a brand-new visual effect to The Sims 4, making the in-game world maps livelier than ever before!

Worth knowing: You can use Animated Clouds with any custom map overrides!

This update also brings quality of life improvements to the Better World Select mod.

Custom world order is now saved per save, allowing you to create a perfect setup for each individual gameplay.

The Preset Manager allows you to save and load your customized combinations for quicker setup in new and existing saves.

Hi SimMattically! For my Sims 4 game, I have Sims 4 Mod Manager installed and I use your custom main menu and loading screen mods (LOVE them btw), but when I downloaded your Better World Select mod, my game’s main menu UI broke :( Is this just a bug with the main menu mod or Better World Select or do they conflict?

Hey SimMatically! So grateful for this mod, I've been using it a while now and couldn't live without it. With this update–sorry if I'm just totally missing it–but how do you save/designate a preset to the different preset slots available?

Omg ignore me. Of course now that I've asked, I see it, for some reason my brain read "Load Preset" for all of them 😂

Thanks! I checked it, and there is nothing in there to suggest the problem is related to my mod. It says the error occurred during gameplay and is related to jewelry_component.py, so it’s most likely caused by an issue with the Crystal Creations Stuff Pack mechanics.

Hey! Thank you so much! :) The Preset Manager features 3 slots, each with its own Save and Load button. First, use the Editor to organize, reorder, and hide worlds exactly how you like them. Once you’re finished, click the Save Preset X button to store that configuration. When you start a new save where everything is back to default, you can simply click Load Preset X to instantly apply your setup. This way, you don’t have to manually repeat all those steps every time you start a new game! :) I hope this explanation helps a little bit!

Hello! Silent member but figured I should let you know that the quick save button broke for me after this recent patch it glitched my ui and the entire bottom ui like where the sims appear and all that wasn't there. Maybe it was an issue on my end or something but I was wanting to let you know just incase it is broken. I love your mods and the main menus you have and appreciate the amazing work you do. (Sorry accidentally deleted the first comment trying to edit is ;( )

Hey there! My mods were tested with the patch 1.120, and they’re working perfectly. The Quick Save Button also functions without any issues. It seems like the problem lies on your end, possibly due to another outdated mod.

Would it be possible to create a mod that prevents townies from using CC, or at least limits them to full-body outfits? Seeing randomly mismatched clothing on townies can be quite jarring. Thank you!

You can use Sims 4 Studio to disable CC for townies. You’ll need to read more about it on their forum.

Yes, it’s possible, but I haven’t implemented language strings for this specific mod (at least not yet).

Thank you, haha 😅 it’s just something I came up with when experimenting with animated maps. The idea for fully animated maps didn’t work out, but clouds were repurposed into this mod! 😊
