Progress Update #24 (Patreon)

Hello, awesome people! Let's get right into it.

Been a while since the last one, yet again. Thank you for your patience :) I'm getting closer and closer to finishing this Episode. My progress was hindered by several obstacles. For one, I can usually plan my deadlines for my 'day job' after I finish an Episode for Finding Cloud 9. So in essence for Finding Cloud 9: Episode Production -> Finalization of Episode -> 'Day Job Focus'. This time however, I had to pack two deadlines in the midst of producing Episode 8. Additionally I got sick for like a week and a half. Only did things on my laptop like checking code, fixing typos, etc. Always something, and I hate a bumpy ride, to be honest. Anyway, I'm finally getting very close to finishing Episode 8. I hope to have it done by the end of August or beginning of September.

The biggest time-sink has actually been animating, relatively speaking. As I've spent more time focused on animating it has also extended the timeline. When once I made like 3 or even 4 animations per day, now It's 2 or sometimes even 1 due to the nature of longer animations. I don't think this update will have as many or more animations, but they, I'm certain, will be of higher quality. So be thorough in your playthrough to get them all, and then let me know what you think. I've already mentioned a few things that will happen in this episode. But to be blunt, A bunch of stuff will unfold. You will have to make more important choices, Consequences of previous decisions will start to unravel and you will finally make some real progress in solving your predicament.

Thank you, deeply, for the support!Onyx
