Progress Update #34 (Patreon)

Good day, everyone!

So, 'Been a while' has gotten a little old. Let's get to it.

Why has it been a while? Was working on my 'day' job. It took more time than expected. But I was finishing up a project's end. Why is that important? Going forward, I'm going to be less involved in things there. Considerably less. Perhaps even 2-3 weeks of production time. That is A LOT of extra time I can dedicate to this project. Now I'm not sure how things will go, what hurdles I'll face, but one thing is clear: More time for Finding Cloud 9.

I was using both creative energy and mental energy to focus on that, and it was getting rather difficult at times. And constantly switching between working on one thing and another tends to disrupt my creative process and even my motivation. Also made me postpone the release of my Steam page. That will go up in the coming weeks. Perhaps parallel to Episode 9 Part 2.

Now. Regarding Episode 9 Part 2, aiming toward a mid-July release won't happen. Most likely End of July. Though, because I'm making each release smaller in scale, it should be more manageable.

What to expect:

The main story will advance (The mobile lab, further investigation, escalation, and more tension)

Problems at home.

Gillian's past will catch up to him.

Some people will show their true colors.

2 Lewd Scenes.

And plenty more.

Next: I'll try the Patreon post plan I wanted to do in June. I won't make the 'progress tracker' because if I release it once a month, you might only see it twice, and that's like: Oh, I'm at 0%, then 50%, then 100%, or something. If I did weekly or something, then yeah, it works. Instead, I'll release something like this:

Week 1: Progress Update '2.0' (Where I'll talk about production progress, estimates until completion, what to expect, and a few planned scenes.)

Week 2: Character Spotlight. (Focusing on what I'm trying to do with the character in the upcoming update, what the scene/scenes are aiming to do with character development, without heavy spoilers.)

Week 3: State of Development (General thoughts that I tend to share in Progress Updates, challenges I'm facing, current focus, insights, etc) Week 4: Behind the Render (Behind the scenes stuff, where I'll talk about my approach to scene creation, story writing, and the like.)

So expect more activity in the feed. (new posts between Wednesdays and Fridays)

It's going to be more structured, and won't bloat Progress Updates with all the thoughts I want to share. Like this one. :D

Next. I'm still trying to figure out how I want to redo the Patreon tiers. Stuff like benefits, pricing, and that kind of thing. Not super high on my priority list, but I'll keep you in the loop.
