I'm SO SHOCKED Irene something like this, in my mind she's OVER being in idol but I guess she might not be?? lol

ZB1 Being temporary really hurts because their skillset is soooo adaptable and diverse and exciting. WE CAN'T HAVE SHIT!

Seulgi looks damn INCREDIBLE!!

Enjoy!

I was honestly so pleasantly surprised at Jiwoong's belt!! I didn't know he could do that!

one of the few singers in the newer gen and it’s the temporary group like this just doesn’t make sense to me mnet better fight tooth and nail to extend those contracts!!!

an ♡

also i am not a fan of red velvet and more just a casual listener so seeing irene in this performance blew my mind bc i did not know she was capable of that! they definitely need to let her sing more!

Joe B

I have a little crush on Matthew what a talented cutie.

You should check out the dance practice for wrong number Irene and seulgi shared on bubble. They sang with the hand mics and everything and it was only about 3 days of practice. https://youtu.be/NPtLBcrErx4?si=NrUQXefwIpXv41Q1 I think if they had a bit more time they could have wowed a bit more performance wise but they were great regardless.

That bridge in wrong number when they were doing call and response? And Irene SINGING singing? I've been watching the ZB1 and Irene & Seulgi performances on repeat all week 🛐

Imane

I try to not stan temporary groups but ZB1 is making it very very hard. I'm getting wayyyy too attached.

9:56 whether on camera or not you should watch the ze_pisode of them learning the choreo! its only 13 mins long and shows how hanbin guides practice and cleans choreo!!!

h

Eunkwang ate that performance up so bad, his immortal song stages are something else fr (Eunkwang has a solo album but it’s very ballad driven, I don’t think you’ll like it 😭) also.. WHAT zb1 are temporary? That’s crazy

Hibz

that part in the zb1 choreo where its simple but captivating was part of the original tvxq choreo too, i agree we need more of that back instead of over complicated dance moves. Singing Irene is what we need more of fr her vocal tone is so good, wrong number is one of my fav tvxq songs so im glad they picked something else other than the typical rising sun/mirotic cover.

botchie

they all ate down but Jiwoong, Gunwook, and Matthew fit that concept so well!!

Koko3op

Yeahhh just 2 more years left with them

Louise

i'm getting sooo attached with ZB1 as well. in my head, there's some random chaebol with lots of money to spare who bought their contracts from wakeone & their respective agencies and invested the shit out of their group loool

Louise

and idk about irene. she looks like she's done with the industry but you'll catch her smiling like she's having the time of her life, esp during their concerts. i put her in the same category as kyungsoo :)))

Liz

I hope this means we will get to hear even more Irene singing ! Solo would be the best outcome!

Koko3op

Yeahh that's definitely what it is! loool

I just love seeing idols covering other artists' songs so earnestly and without it being a copy and paste version of the original. Really impressed with ZB1's performance and the vocals!! i feel you with what you wrote about Irene but after watching her latest vlogs and seeing her in recent RV content you can tell that the world tour, the contract renewal -and all that it probably entails- has seemingly revived her desire to perform and be an artist. Hope it'll last cause we have to have a Aseul comeback with this kind of energy!! Seulgi aced that performance as per usal haha

As a Baetokki (Irene bias)… I don’t think she doesn’t want to be an idol because if you were a fan before 2021, she was way different but after there was a scandal that well I will let you form your own opinion on. She became more closed off and you didn’t really see her until Queendom came out and they had an anniversary live. Which even in that you can tell she didn’t know how to act. But she mentioned and you can see in small glimpses, she loves singing and dancing especially for Revluvs.

ariah

i feel like you would really enjoy the on and off performance from this episode as well!!

Koko3op

That’s good to hear cos I LOVE her and yes I forgot about her scandal.

Chloé Hoarau

Yes exactly! And I think you can definitely tell that since she got that brand deal with 2aN, 2023 birthday party and she saw that her fans and maybe some of the gp's interest in her was still here and mostly positive she gained back some of that confidence or at the very least felt more comfortable being more enthusiastic in the things that she does. I was very happy to hear her tell the fans that she wanted to perform more of the latest album and overall she wanted to continue with her career

You were right @ the 리키 part, love this journey!! It would be Ricky/Ricki/Riki etc. Short and sweet like mine, 리사.

Jay Mèlanie

Hello! New here and so excited about it. I thoroughly enjoy your honest, in depth reactions on Youtube, I also love that you have guest that are creatives (singers, dancers, etc..) from different artistic spaces reacting as well. I wanted more so here I am...anyhoo I am so enjoying ZB1 and like you & many others will be so sad when their contract is up because not only is the music great but they are so talented vocally and in performing as well. Just a well rounded, solid group. Also that move you were talking about in the Choreo gave me New Edition Vibes, my cousins used to reenact their dance moves all the time and I am pretty sure that move was one of them.LOL

Koko3op

Welcome!! Thank you for joining, I really appreciate it a lot as well as people that comment a lot, one of my favourite things is engaging with everyone. Yess I see New Edition vibes too!

Jay Mèlanie

Thank you, and you're welcome! Awesome, good to know because outside of the internet I am a talker( when I feel comfortable) which translates to... get ready for long comments...lol!
