ONCE again, I'm doing my research!!

They were requested before but I finally found the energy to check them out and I remembered how much I miss these guys, I think I want to get back in to their variety content!

I LOVE how synchronised and disciplined they are, something new for YG in many ways especially as a LARGE group, a first for them. They still have some of the iconic YG stage presence but they have the most challenging choreo of all their groups I think (I need to double check iKon) but yeah they did that!

I said his name so mANY times. He's MESMERISING. I'm also impressed by how much Junghwan AND Haruto have grown as performers, they also caught my eye a LOT. I'm surprised how much Doyoung faded into the background for me cos he's one of my faves too.

Overall this was a very strong concert. I'd say it's on par with how much I enjoyed Enhypen's so shout out to me enjoying another boy group!! Yay

Treasure…yes, I wasn’t really impressed with their latest album…but some of the songs grew on me…. Jihoon really came into his own…ASAHI keeps shining as a lyricist and producer (he wrote “orange “, “thank you”(his duet with Haruto)… fun fact the lady singing at the end of G.O.A.T (greatest of All Time) is one of the vocalist (Lee Young Hyun) from Big Mama. Jeonwoo really has his work cut out for him, but he’s also coming into his own….a few months ago he was on the show “Begin Again “… he can sing!!!

random question, but what are your opinions on IKON? And would you ever do a concert reaction for them?

omgg this is such a surprise, i’ve had an on & off relationship with them where i forget abt them, then rediscover, binge all their variety content, forget once again, & repeat 😭😭😭 but to answer that one question abt jeongwoo’s lines!! him & yedam always got the most singing parts so whenever there was a prechorus for the title tracks, the formula would always be yedam=prechorus 1 and jeongwoo=prechorus 2 but now jeongwoo sings both! any lines yedam or mashiho would have in the verses or outro tend to go to asahi, doyoung, jaehyuk, jihoon, etc. although jihoon has always had a fair amount of lines as well (personally i think jeongwoo & jihoon are the strongest vocalists) IM SO GLAD YOU NOTICED JIHOON THO!! he really is such a performer i love him

Rewatching as someone who actually comments and wow, I love treasure so much. I definitely agree that virtually all their songs sound the same and those that sound different to their titles… also all fall into one very specific category lmao but imo they’re lucky that the niche works for them and how good they are at performing. Their variety is so good, i agree and i think their personality is one of their biggest selling points. Jaehyuk’s personality shines so much but he definitely falls a bit in performances, especially this one, and i think he’d benefit from embracing it like Junkyu does. Somehow Junkyu embraces his cuteness without looking disconnected from the others, it’s quite impressive. Overall, I loveeee watching them perform. Jeongwoo’s voice is so beautiful and I think he’s really had the chance to showcase it the past few years. I’m quite glad their music has evolved slightly over the last year or so (like 10% different and now ALL the new music sounds the same lmao) and I think it is really working and they feel so cohesive as a group. However I BEG for them to do an actually serious cb both conceptually and sonically, they have more than the skill set necessary and it would really elevate them and their capabilities as artists in my eyes.
