WOW.

They came out the gate swinging. This is their BEST album no doubt, truly gagged me!

I also feel like it's very balanced album in terms of vocals, it feels like everyone had moments to shine! But I can't be absolutely sure without the line distribution video.

Jungsu sang that BEAUTIFUL melody that I can't wait to get back to.

I'm so glad I love them so much.

Enjoy!

Everything about this comeback feels so special and exciting! I can feel that they really enjoy and resonate with the music they make and its so infectious! Even lyrically, especially the title track, I think they’ve levelled up. For example the line ‘war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength’ is a famous quote from George Orwell’s 1984, which is about manipulative propaganda. Who thought of that!!!??? Ahhh I cannot wait to see the recordings and live clips of some of these songs!!!! Thank you so much for the reaction :D

I believe the song is in 4/4 and the 6 is a poly rhythm being play by the drums hitting on 5, 6, and then on 1! However I’ve only taken music theory for a year and a half so, I could be wrong!

Koko3op

Ahhhh I was wondering if it was something!!

Koko3op

It's SO confusing but I love it!! But that makes sense, thanks for answering!

It's so funny that ITZY and Xdinary Heroes both put out songs called Supernatural, and both are bangers.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the teaser snippets, and only got to hear the album today, so I’m a bit late 🙈 But I reallyyyy like it! They did an excellent job with this album. Even with the TT alone, my mind was racing trying to piece together details I recognize from different influences. The obvious one of course is Bohemian Rhapsody, but there are a couple of other rock operas I’m almost 100% sure they’ve drawn some inspo from. Proud of them, as always 🥹💕

My favorite thing about their sound recently is that it's sounding less and less like a concept if that makes sense. Like closer to around when they debuted (first few title tracks) was when they experimented with different concepts and then they started experimenting with ballads like good enough. Now with this album it sounds like they truly understand how to make each member's vocals stand out. Also, I think one of the biggest factors for the rhythmic structure of the songs being different is because of the drum patterns. when i first listened to the album I spent half the time being gagged by how much variety there was with the drums. This is also why you were confused about the time signature. I would say it's 4/4 but the triplets on the drums made it sound like 6/8. Overall I loved that this album kind of solidified their sound as a band, but i don't doubt that we'll be surprised with each comeback.

Koko3op

Yesss they've really stepped it up! And yeah it does feel less like a concept, I think that's a good way to put it

On fight me you might be thinking of justice?

Koko3op
