Yup, my phone did me dirty twice.

Anyway, I wanted to check out a previous album of theirs before their comeback because i've never wanted to love a groups music so much lol.

Things started of pretty great tbh that song was a nice change!

HOWEVER, as the album went on I finally pin pointed where they miss the mark for me but i'm still holding out for the new album especially when it comes to their performances.

They're close to giving a song I love in FULL!

I'm almost sure that the Zico influence they obviously have will be the reason i will never get to like their music :( but i still have hope for their upcoming album.

Ugh I love this, I feel like we get such good reactions for BND bc you want to like them so much but you know exactly where they miss the mark for you. One thing that does make me slightly hopeful in your journey with them is how much you don’t care about lyrics😂 Dangerous is a banger but it took me forever to get over my hate of please don’t tell my mom and daddy😭 I get what you’re saying about the songs being one note though, and you’re consistent bc in your last album review there was a song that was sooo basic and you were about to give it like a one or a three but at the end they threw in one line that was a completely different vibe and you bumped it up two points just for that🤣 so really you aren’t asking for much!

Hi! I recently subbed for mainly BND content but I love your commentary and critiques as a whole for other groups too. Even if you don't like something I appreciate that you always explain areas they can improve. Even if the reason is as simple as this song is just not for you which is fair too. I like BND music but I always felt like they could do more or go bigger. Zico struck gold with these group of boys but I feel like they need to take a new direction. They need to introduce some new influences in their music as well. QUEER influences would definitely elevate them haha. Their team has excelled at their branding and concept to their credit. However, we need evolution sonically from here. I really hope their next album has something you fully like or even just for you to see more growth from them.

im sooo happy onedoors are being fed !!! i love these boys so much and so happy u gave them a second chance HAHAHAHA (weve come so far) “Are you guys smoking weed?” LMFAOOAAOAOA i think a lot of their music is zico influenced which i also wish that they would branch out out of that box- i mean i understand for title tracks cause Zico is their main producer. I do enjoy a lot of their music for the majority, but with how much creative direction they are able to incorporate into their music, its still feels like somewhat is missing(or the themes feel SLIGHTLY repetitive), i do wish that they will take like writing/composing lessons cause they have talent. Maybe hybe should put them in an ‘american hustle life’ experience?? Or like learn from someone who isnt zico so that they can build a stronger identity for themselves. Otherwise like, theyre still young and still have so much to learn and grow to musically. But its undeniable that theyve got star quality; talent and personality. (Love love bnd sm)

Oooooohh repetitive themes is the WORD! We really have come far and omg a show like that wouldve done wonders for them because they are entertaining too. I hope it comes and yes i've noticed BND are very much loved and so i won't give up on them just yet!

obsessed with how hard you're trying to get into their music lol i honestly feel you, even if i absolutely despised their sound all of them are too charming and talented so i fear i would just gaslight myself into liking everything. i think you make some great points/criticisms about them. i think it's really nice that they've been able to make a sound that fits them and that people can immediately pinpoint as boynextdoor, but that sound can definitely be one note/monotonous for sure. here's to hoping you find ONE (1) song you genuinely enjoy in the next project!!!

Yea Although he didn’t like ewf, the b-sides of the album are completely different vibes so i think there’s a chance he might enjoy them Personally it’s my fav album too so i would appreciate if he checks it out!

This is so me. After seeing Jaehyun so much from MCing with Hanbin & then recently seeing Leehan on Fave's Fave being so cute about fish, I'm desperate to get into them. I like the wanna be a rock song and if i say i love you but nothing's fully clicked. But I'm DESPERATE for it to LOL.

Jaehyun is literally a gateway drug LOL i wasn't immediately taken by their debut stuff but when they were getting waves of hate on twitter for literally no reason i was standing 10 toes down for them solely because I thought so highly of Jaehyun without knowing anything else about them. I would say that watching their live performances was what made their music really click for me!! i don't usually watch fancams for even my favourite groups but I'm always sure to watch theirs (especially woonhak's)
