OBVIOUSLY this is multi-layered and the music soundscape is not purely based off of NEWJEANS' sound however you can't help but see the parts that they HAVE influenced. Hope they have a comeback in the future. "

You’re spot on newjeans may have not created the sound but the impact,influence, their style most of these songs that are the title track would have been B-sides. Even the laid back choreo

Some great points. I wonder if this conversation / recognition would be different if the current lawsuit and situation had not happened. People would be more willing to talk about New Jeans' influence.

they were sooo good at what they were doing plus they were just getting started... idk alot about kpop but i felt some ppl never gave them their flowers bc they were so young, too good, and too fast. their momentum felt like they were creating a new space in a saturated market....
