For Aespa, I love their music so much and i think they grew so much BUT as I saw them a couple of times live there is still something lacking for me in terms of their stage presence and i also hate that they don’t sing live a lot. If they improve in this area they would be unstoppable. Because as I said the music is AMAZING!!

Besides being goofy and etc... tarzzan 's rap is... very mediocre to say the least, since he talked about his "inspirations" on the movement and stuff, I thought it was gonna be decent. Having a gap between him and woochan will be weird if they really focus on rap songs imo

Koko3op

Hopefully he improves. You already know rap goes over my head lool

I was very excited for a co-ed group bc like you said there is only one but I didn’t not YG to lead the charge here 😫. I personally do not like any of their music and the members aren’t really do it for me. I do find it funny in the irony though that famous is their debut song and each trainee is “famous” to some extent. Woochan made it to the semi-finals/finals of SMTM6 when he was like 13 but, majority of his fans come from him being apart of Trainee A (big hits almost boy group). Also, I’m nosy and wanna know why Youngseo left ILLIT, I read she was involved with that Seunghan scandal when it was all going down but obviously we will never know the real reason. Bailey Sok was born and raised in California and she barely knows Korean so I’m confused why she hasn’t pulled tarzzan to the side just to be like “hey, here is the reason people have an issue with how you’re dressed/hairstyles/emojis used/etc.” Maybe it’s like you said they aren’t close so she isn’t comfortable doing it but who knows. I honestly didn’t expect “famous” to be doing so well but then I remembered Annie and all she has to do is give her family a call and “famous” can be played in every mall chain, convince store, building in an instant. Probably me being jaded but I don’t know if I’d ever put the word ‘organic’ next to the group. I am excited though bc hybe said they are working on a co-ed group in March and I think ZICOs company can pull one off really well.

Time will tell!! And I think she'll tell him eventually haha

Thanks for your perspective! Hip-hop is such a beautiful multifaceted genre and it is very disappointing that the prevailing impression of it in the pop world is such a simplistic one. This leads to very very very low standards. Someone will do a lil fast rap and all of a sudden they're a hip-hop king/queen! And don't get me started on the styling! Hip-hop is not all about bandanas and baggy clothes and gloves and flashy jewelry and....the list goes on. I look at some of the stuff out there and I'm like how sway how?? In 2025 with all of this access to information, how are these stylists and artists staying woefully uninformed? But then again, maybe they're not ignorant. Maybe it's easier to sell an image based on a simplistic notion rather than a more nuanced one.

I've been an enjoyer of your content since last year, but recently I've been binge watching your videos. You're hands down the REALEST K-Pop reactor in the platform and you give genuine insight and opinions on what you consume, from a black and queer fan's POV which is so important to me. With ALLDAY Project recently debuting, I had my doubts as soon as I heard about Tarzzan but something clicked in me after watching their "The Day Before" videos; I really like how different they are as a group, and I can't NOT make the music hit..... My only issue is that Tarzzan needs to grow out of this hip-hop/black adjacent persona and become his own person, and I really see that for him in the future. I know it's not up to Bailey, but she's probably the only one in the group that can convince him since he clearly doesn't give a fuckkkkk about what others say. What you expressed as well in your podcast is almost exactly how I feel overall, and I'm glad that I dont sound crazy for not being as mad/pressed about it as everyone else on Twitter.... Anyway! Love your content!!! Thank you for being outspoken!!!!

not to be an ass licker but girl can i just say how much i appreciate your channel like i was a silent viewer in 2022 and was frightened to death about if you were gonna dislike a group or song i gagged over (most of the time you did) and so i would feel upset BUT i kept getting pulled in through how good you are at analyzing WHY you dislike a song or what is missing.. anyway i just want to thank you for the pure JOY you've given me throughout the years like as another gay, black man from england, there's just something about seeing you thrive and express such mutual opinions and enjoy the same things that nothing else can make me feel and i just felt the urge to comment about it so stay safe king !! sending love from cornwall xx

Koko3op

Awww thank you so much! And yeah it seems he's taken the braids out for the encore today so he'll probably grow out of it, he seems to have a soft heart tbh
