The craziest thing here was Justthis asking about Sangwon's birth chart. That GAGGED ME cos you lot know how obsessed I am with astrology and what's even craziest? The 3 of us are Tauruses AND Justthis and Sangwon are born one day apart AND they both have Jupiter in Leo, so I find it very telling he was curious about seeing his chart. And the fact he's into astrology, how hot considering i was also crushing on him the whole episode.

There's something to be said about not knowing why someone's attractive to you until you see their birth chart cos all episode i was doing to him what he did to Sangwon and I had no clue what sign he was.

Anyway I have my TOP 8 now for sure. Sangwon, Leo, DongGyu, XinLong, Kangmin, Junmin, Nian Bo and Yun Seo! I'd be very happy with that line up. I'll probably quick one person out to add another vocalist but Yun Seo has a great voice too tbh and Dong Gyu too so yeah.

I had a blast. Like Jennie team DELIVERED and Kany is such an angel!

The only thing I didn’t like about the Like Jennie performance was that Mnet basically turned it into a Junmin fancam. Like everytime Harry June was in the center, it switched to someone else almost immediately. He also got the worst outfit and he literally choreographed the whole thing and didn’t even see the process. Vote Harry June y’all since Mnet is trying to hide him!

i find it super interesting how younger gen z/alphas act on these shows. they are super online and get real meta. like yunseo and zhongxing just like, openly talking about mnet editing and narrative flow.

I haven't seen the full reaction yet but saw you say yi chen was the one who disappeared. I dont know if you know but mnet were using him as a full time translater for other teams and constantly pulling him aside and getting him to translate for other people then evil edited him as lazy.

About Like Jennie team, I really do think Jungmin is talented and passionate but honestly, Mnet was trying so hard to force him on us this episode... Harry June barely got any close-ups, the camera was constantly flying away from him, and Ching Yu and Hyunjun got pretty much the same treatment. During the practice segments the whole storyline revolved around Jungmin as if he's the only one who truly wants to debut and others are just happened to be there... that kind of editing is just annoying, makes the push way too obvious instead of letting viewers decide for themselves. Again, I wouldn't be mad if Jungmin ends up in the final lineup but the way the narrative was built around only him feels so unfair to the rest HOT team… another reason for my frustration lol. How on earth did Leejeong end up voted as the best?? like sure, he did okay and managed not to mess things up, but first place in points? I get that the audience is biased and probably voted for him as a member rather than judging the performance itself (plus he's the only Korean and the audience there was likely mostly Korean too), but still....honestly I just feel bad for Li Zi Hao and especially Nian Bo Heng who actually helped Leejeong so much during the preparation, I personally really enjoyed his performance, and tbh all three Planet C members were kinda equally great to me so I would've been happy to see any combination of them as 1 and 2 place in this voting, but nope… these shows are always so unfair, and yet here I am watching every single time anyway lol XXL team - no complaining, Yun Seo and Arctic were really the best, the performance was great, nothing much to add :D

i actually really like your top 8!! but i think anxin is like 100% gonna make it so if i swapped nian bo or yunseo for him that’d be more similar to my own top 8. i also love harry june too, as well as hengyu and masato but i feel like they won’t make it 😞

I get tired of B2P sometimes (mostly due to the production) but I can’t seem to let go because there’s so much talent here!! Just when I think things are boring, these boys prove me wrong and gag me with their performances lol. The song choices for this mission for instance were definitely Interesting with a capital I and left me quite disappointed. I’m glad the three performances they showed here were actually good and made me look forward to this round more. With Zhongxing, I do feel like maybe it was his breaking point, almost? And the edit just made it seem like it was just about Leejeong. But that’s just me speculating hahaha. But his lyrics in his rap did mention something of this nature. With that being said, I do wish the rap was subbed because lyric writing is such a huge part of the rap position battle. I still enjoyed their performance but watching it the second time around with subs definitely enhanced the experience if that makes sense. And I was speechless after Like Jennie!! I loved the Junmin edit but I do wish we also saw more of them choreographing because they deserve so much credit for this. All of them did such a great job and I was just cheesing the entire time. These are stars!! — We have a similar top 8 (4/8!)!! I love how Donggyu is in yours too because I feel like I rarely see him in people’s picks 🥲 I’m currently voting for Fan Zheyi and Chen Kaiwen (the Killing Part for Tambourine) but I definitely don’t mind Kangmin, Junmin, and Yunseo. Junmin especially is growing on me so I can see myself voting for him in the future. I voted for Yunseo during the second global voting but had to switch to some of my picks who were falling off the ranks 😆 Also! I’ve very recently gotten into birth charts and crystals. I've been on a crystal buying spree omg. You talking about Sangwon’s birth chart made me smile because I didn’t even notice that Justthis mentioned it! I'm so sorry for the lengthy comment 😅🧎🏻‍♀️

Ugh I literally love watching your reactions in general but your BP2 reactions have been so refreshing! I’ve seen a lot of people just comparing it to BP1 and just complaining about absolutely everything. Of course there’s valid criticisms and MNET is a mess but I really love just watching you enjoy the show and seeing how many talented trainees there are. They better make the group more than 8 there’s too many to choose from. As per usual thank you for the great reaction!!

zhong xing has mental difficulties that developed from being exploited and dragged to the mud since a young age by his CEO and chinese netizens, i srsly think for his own mental health AND online reputation he should take a step back from the show and get help and healing... im not articulate at all but you can tell and after reading up on his past it clicks why he reacts to things the way he does. he is not ready to debut rn 😭 plus at some points it doesnt help the progress/speed of getting things done w other trainees my heart reaches out for this man

ugh YUNSEO THAT KID MANNNN theres something ab him !!! i really wanna see him debut but i now ppl are holding his votes because of his age. hes got so much talent, and the traction this debut group will get from the show would be perfect for him to showcase that!!! he is very much on top of many of the people here. like jennie team.no words. i feel sangwon has a certain stage persona where a little demon, in a similar way to how ateez have their demon line, just takes over him. he really has the IT factor. theres something about him thats so addictive and likeable, and it especially changes on stage. you mentioned 'performing' and i think its exactly that - sangwon PERFORMS. The same thing with junmin. a lot of the trainees are so talented but they tend to execute exactly what they practice, dancing and singing on stage, which is wonderful, however theres not much that differentiates them from the rest. Junmin is STRONG my eyes are always drawn to him on stage - theres a masculinity about his movements which is not overbearing nor forced (some ppl need to learn from that). perhaps im bias cos he is fine shyt but idc i can talk about him all day. He also has a air of maturity to him, his experience of being a leader in his group is definitely an attribute to this... jia yang actually suprised me, he wasn't amazing however he has improved a lot from getting all stars for being cute (which was bull💩 but i digress) id say if he was a fat minus 3 beforehand his stage today was defo a middle 2 star considering the development. im yapping tho so

I do find it WILD that they didn't show them making the like jennie choreo considering how important it was to the mention. Instead they spent like 15 minutes on the duo talking about being leader like wtf?? Ohhh I LOVE that you're into birth charts. It's the best and no the comment is fine cos you used paragraphs lol

TBH I don't know what to say about zhong xing. His performance was good but the build up before just had me feeling some type of way. I defiantly think there's something deeper going on with him because based off the editing i would've assumed he was bipolar. (My nursing brain is always assessing) As for the Jennie group!!! Baby they ATE!!!!! SANGWON will continue to be in my top 5 but now i can add Jun Min. I whole heartily agree with Kany (My Black Queen) and would've chose him too! One thing about us Black women we gone always show our support! I just love that they have Kany as a judge this year. Jun Min is insanely gifted and i'm so damn proud of him this episode. And man do I want more for Harry June. When they went through the process before the performance they should've showed us how he came up with this choreo tbh, like he really deserves so much more than a couple of seconds here and there. And yess Micah I was shocked Justthis brought up Sangwon birth chart too. I love discussing people's astrological signs. I'm defiantly falling more in love with Justthis. He looked so good this episode!!!

Yunseo had me absolutely weak this whole episode. Like he knows how ment operates and was waiting for the inevitable. No kid, you did so well that this likely would have been cut because of lack of drama, but it was so funny they had to keep it. 😂

This is a whole ass essay. BE WARNED T_T This is kind of like, a singular super comment for the entire show, not just this episode. (1st half is me ranting about and professing my undying love for Harry June, the second half is more about the show's structure and the final linup, skip to paragraph 4. for that.) 1. My only complaint here, and in the previous episode is just how obviously mnet had been cutting Harry June out. Also I don't really agree with your comment about about him not looking into the crowd, since for about 60% of his centre parts the camera deadass just zoomed out to an eagle view or cut to Junmin or Sangwon. He had basically no facecam moments in this stage except for the ending fairy. It was agony waiting a whole week for these fancams to drop just so I could go and watch his haha. Hyunjun I feel was really underappreciated in this stage too. His performance was full of so much energy I really enjoyed his fancam as well ^^. 2. After Harry's Rising Sun fancam gained popularity on tiktok, mnet decided not to show Harry and Yumeki's dance battles even though they were shown to us in the teasers for that episode, it sucks cause both of them got a standing ovation from the other contestants, I hate that it's basically lost footage now :( But at least Harry and Yumeki made a choreo together and posted it on insta after the show ended! 3. And now here for like Jennie, for the stage where he created 85% of the choreo and was the leader, he didn't get so much as a shred of screentime either, not A WORD of judge feedback about their choreo, or performance, and it really rubbed me the wrong way. They only gave him screentime in episode 10 during the Lucky Macho prep because he had already been eliminated smh. 4. One of the major problems I actually have with the show is how useless the judges are. We hardly get to see any of their feedback and they feel more ornamental than anything if I'm being honest. Also all the guest presenters were so unnecessary. I did not have to watch San read random names for 3 hours. The show wasted so much runtime on dragging out those elimination episodes and unnecessary sidequests (eg. that fuckass dog, like, I'm happy there was an emotional support animal on set, but I have no clue why that dog got more screentime than several contestants.) 5. Mnet continues to have TOO MANY contestants, biting off far more than they can chew, and the show was boring because of it. The Top 10 was roughly the same throughout the entire season and you had little chance to form an emotional connection to many talented contestants since they were barely showed on screen. I feel like the show would fare so much better if it only had about 30 contestants. 6. Mnet's picks were really obvious this season. I'm glad some of them didn't make it and the final lineup is so much better than I could have hoped for. Especially considering both Jiahao and Xinlong made it I was overjoyed. (Also I just discovered Jiahao's stagename is going to be ARNO?! I'm horrified, it's giving Sesame street) 7. The one thing this group lacks imo is a VOICE that I love. Throughout the season there were not that many contestants that stood out to me vocally but Chen Bowen, Yoonmin, Andrew, Leo, Jiang Fan and Haneum were all quite good, Hengyu too, but he seemed to have a bit of a habit of biting off more than he could chew vocally, although that might have also just been due to how the show makes people ultra desperate and competative. It baffled me a bit that only one of them got into the final lineup. But I'm glad Leo didn't get separated from Sangwon. I honestly feel a strange sense of relief now that all the Trainee A members have debuted. 8. Also, is this a safe space to say I never understood the hype around Anxin? He sounds like a little lamb when he sings and he's pretty but he doesn't have that magnetising effect that eg. his friend and lablemate Jiahao has imo. Junseo actually has a decent amount of stage presence and as a fan of WEi for a while, he will do just fine here too. Also love that another boykisser made it into the lineup, I just know WAKEONE is mad about that behind the scenes haha. And Sanghyeon...I keep forgetting about him. I can't remember a single moment in the show where he truely stood out to me if I'm being honest. I kept thinking "who is that" whenever I saw him ranked so high. 9. Donggyu and Junmin not making the final lineup sucked, especially since Donggyu's company is going to throw him back into their training dungeon. I'm actually glad that Yunseo didn't make it. It's a joy seeing a new group not have a single minor in it. Kaiwen was amazing too. As to be expected from a trainee from Lay's company ^^ 10. I just wish certain people had been able to stay on the show a bit longer instead of the Masatos and the Liyu's of this season. And it's such a shame how many C-trainees were cut almost immediately. I would have liked to have Chen Bowen or Jiang Fan's voice on some of those BPII songs when I listen to them. (Overall the quality of the song picks both for the covers and for the originals this song was pretty ahh, especially those final songs. And don't get me started on the absolute trainwreck that is the signal song. TBF the only signal song I have ever liked is the one from I-LAND, but I feel like Hola Solar was particularly awful)
