I'm BACK!!

My full thoughts on Boys 2 planet's finale and the line up for the first episode and my second is on Jiyoon leaving IZNA and questioning how much we deserve to know regarding idols and the generic health issues statements we get if they're even genuine at all?

Beast Is Cool93

Are you gonna check out Leo's solo ep? The ep is called 'Come Closer'. Because the title track 'One Look' was my song of the year in 2023.

Mnet released the trainee's diaries, (without their knowledge, mind you), and in Donggyu's, he basically says that it was his idea/desire to choreograph the Bad performance and Junseo just agreed with him. In the show, however, Mnet edited it as if it was Junseo who pushed him to do it. It was also broken down not long after the episode aired that Mnet edited Junseo as not doing anything and just sitting with the Ipad, when in reality, he was marking the choreography while looking at it. They also edited him as just not being present for no reason, when at that time, he was gone to film the Whiplash Mcountdown stage. It was also shared by those who saw the performances for that round live that Junseo told everyone to vote for Donggyu because he made the choreography. (This information was shared before episodes for this round even aired by basically everyone who gave repos of the performances, but it was completely edited out of the show.) Mnet also edited around Junseo encouraging Donggyu when he said that the Bad performance might be his last due to how low he was ranked at the time. People who were there said that Junseo told Donggyu that wasn't true; He'd make it to the next round, which he did. (In fact, no one in a team Junseo lead got eliminated in the round that he was their leader.) Mnet also edited him like he was harsh with Masato and didn't help him while leading the Bad team and made it seem like they didn't resolve anything, despite the fact that they were roomated during that round and certainly would have talked, when in reality, they are incredibly close. Kangmin also went live and talked about his experience on Boys Planet, and when talking about Junseo, he shared how when they were on the Main Dish team together, while Li Zihao was the leader and took care of the team mentally as a whole, Junseo was the one who took care of each of them individually. Mnet showed nothing but a tiny, barely-there glimpse of this when Sun Hengyu asked Junseo "Am I wrong?" during his fight with Kangmin. Sorry for the novel. Mnet just clearly didn't want Junseo in the group for whatever reason and chose to basically defame him with an evil edit (then give him an invisible edit when they saw that evil editing him just mobilized his fanbase after he still remained in the top 8 in the third elimination), so there are a lot of examples of it to clarify.

I always know that you would miss so many details when you watch survival shows with skipping haha. I used to have quite a bunch of time, so I rewatched I-LAND 2 multiple times, with different reactors (lol just want to witness people's emotional trip). Anyway, after Ji-yoon finished her speech, walked to the chairs for the line-up and sat down, she SOBBED. And that moment was like 2 seconds then the camera moved back. So yeah, for Ji-yoon, her reaction can sometimes be slower than normal and I would say at that moment, she held her tears back SO HARD, it only burst when she settled down.

Yeah, the efforts they go to to get rid of trainees they don't like is wild. Junseo, at least, was just lucky enough to have a large fanbase to back him up, (plus the help of many of Masato's fans who voted for him in lieu of Masato, since he was eliminated). Other trainees that Mnet targeted weren't as lucky and were eliminated because of it.

Sae-bi has very clear strengths and weaknesses, imo. She shines the most in songs with cute concept or sentimental concept. It's not really the case with more heavy-hitting concepts like badass, sassy or effortlessly cool. Her voice is actually very versatile, but her visual, dancing and facial expression are not quite there yet. That's totally understandable coz to me, she's just like a cotton ball, intentional or not. Sae-bi is just 17, and it will take some time for her to toughen up and embrace her mature side, for which I'm willing to wait. Not to mention, her role in the group right now can't really allow her to take more impactful parts, which of course let down her fans a lot. But that's the kind of sacrifice you have to take when you're in a group.

I have a lot, hell a lot to say about Ji-yoon's case but I realize it's not gonna lead to anywhere, not gonna do anything better to what we're experiencing. I think time will be the only thing that can give the best answer now, whether she left because of health issue or other reasons, will she reunite with the girls or debut in a different project, etc. What might sadden me the most is to realize, in the future, that our 7 girls had the chance to create magic together but are not meant for each other.

Yeahht his is it but i hoped she'd stand out more in sign or beep

Correction: they knew the diaries would be public - so they knew not to write personal stuff there - but they didn't know the whole diary would displayed.

There was a lot of viewer manipulation happening in B2P so I awalys watch it cautionly. Funny thing is that the trainees who left B2P are now coming out and talking about their experience. Recently Hengyu talked that him and Kangmin actually reconciled during the show, but it was never shown. He said he was terrified that because of him Kangmin's rank dropped so he started avoiding him, however, in the finale Kangmin came up to him and hugged him first. It's so frustrating when the editing is done with the intention to create drama and harm. Had they shown the two reconcile that would have been one thing, but they never did. The show really pushed Sangwon, Anxin, Junmin, and Donggyu which is okay, but it's a little unfair to the rest. Also now they are creating a massive hate train towards those in the group because of that. People are now so emotionally connected to the trainees they kept pushing in the show.

surprised leo got in. i know hes popular internationally, but his whole ordeal is easily the worst possible category of controversy you could have especially knowing how big a problem femicide and misogyny is in korea. his image domestically is already in the rocks with every other solo fandom in this group despising him, so every single slipup going forward is only going to add to it tenfold. i have mixed feelings about him but im wishing him luck in terms of general mental health.

Thank you for the correction!
