In this episode of Anatomy of a Song, I'm breaking down two of the biggest 5th-gen boy group releases: BOYNEXTDOOR’s “Hollywood Action” and RIIZE’s “FAME.”Even though neither song made my Top 30 list last year, both are important pieces of the 5th-gen puzzle sonically, visually, and conceptually. I’ll dig into what each track tries to do, what works, what doesn’t, and how they reflect the musical identities these groups are building

Omg I like this Anatomy songs, clever name btw. I immediately thought of "is that true"/"step by step" and "jam" by boynextdoor, like I am really curious about them.. also "House of card" by BTS one of my favorite song and definitely would be interesting to hear its anatomy haha. Great episode

Loved this episode! Honestly I didn’t expect Hollywood action to sound that good on its own but it really surprised me. I also noticed Stupid Brain by P1Harmony in your top songs, and I’d love to hear your take on what makes that song hit so good. it really scratches my brain in the best way for some reason.

Enjoyed this episode very much!! Didn't expect Hollywood Action to win but excellent irrefutable points were made and I agree lol. An idea for the next episode. Crash vs Strawberry Cheesegame. Your top two Bsides of 2025!! Now that would be a battle of the ages.
