In this episode of Anatomy of a Song, I’m testing something I’ve always wondered: do bigger groups actually make vocals harder to pull off?Using songs from tripleS, NCT, IDNTT, WANNAONE and LOONA, I strip the tracks back and listen to how well the voices really blend once the production isn’t doing all the work. Large member counts can mean richer harmonies… or total chaos — and this time, one group genuinely surprised me.

I'm surprised you didn't add izone

I consider it but their debut song sounded annoying af LOOL

about wanna one: the reason why their song is a lot more bare bones is because this was produced by hui and this was back when he was a rookie and VERY new to composing, and energetic was one of his first completed tracks! i highly recommend s2 of produce (only if you have the time ofc!), the first two seasons of produce were truly on another level when it came to raw talent.

Koko3op

Yeahh I knew he produced it but still, the finished product being so bare is crazyy

Seo Dahyun does most of the adlibs for tripleS and did the falsetto you really like. She just appeared on Lee Mujin if you want to dive deeper into her voice

I did NOT expect to be this entertained !! this was so interesting. Also, I've been away for MONTHS (last I was here you weren't making pods yet lol) and I have to say I miss your NCT reactions so much! (I assume you're not going to check out dream's latest stuff? I tried to check discord for info but couldn't find any comments :( I remember vaguely you saying something about not liking their vibe after last years releases?) anyways thanks again, my adhd brain loves listening these

Koko3op

Omgg thank you so much for enjoying these especially for an adhd brain i'm so honoured! Yess atm I dont think there's much for me when it comes to nct but lets see what 127 does with Taeyong and Jaehyun once he's back!!
