Usually I save these kinds comments for discord where we can laugh at them but I thought to share here too.

I'm always amazed that people can say they're "dissapointed" in me like they raised me??

They're practicing the same parasocial delusions they create over idols, on you. You shattered their narrative they created about you in their subconscious. It’s that parasocial shit. It always extends to not only groups and band members but their companies too. It’s weird and very I have literally nothing better to do behavior. The one thing I thought all kpop fans could agree on is that all of these companies, especially the big ones, have real issues when it comes to mistreatment of their artists. The day I found out company stans were a thing I was genuinely so confused. It's like defending apple, a multi billion dollar company that doesn't give a shit about you, just because at some point you had an iPhone. Wtf kinda decision making leads you to that position?!?!?

I'm sorry you have to deal with people like that honestly. I really admire how unapologetic you are in your thoughts and views. It's also like, instead of wasting energy going to bat for these shitty, companies, that do not care about them or the people working within them even a little bit - maybe use that energy to defend things that actually matter? They should try standing up for something other than their deluded sense of self importance simply because they like an artist in that company (a company and an artist which realistically do not care about them, and that they don't even actually know!) Either way, enjoying a group and their music is meant to be fun. If you can't have fun with it, you probably need to step away and reset. You're also my one of my favourite Kpop channels because I never feel any kind of toxicity in your reviews or reactions at all. Even when you don't like something so not sure what they're on about (sorry that was so long!)

I know it's not that serious and this isn't therapy... Generally, I have my channel preferences and all that but I'm in my mid-30s, my days of worshipping celebrities and personalities are pretty much over, I usually look at people on the screen as just another person and the connection is momentary because we were entertained by something, and then I move on with my life. So I don't usually 'admire" or drool over anything anymore. Too old too busy too jaded even lol That's just to say that I don't say this next part lightly: I really admire your boundaries. Like I was immediately emotionally moved by "... cos who are you talking to?" Like I aspire to having boundaries like that. Really powerful.
