But you know what, it was just so nice seeing a trainee try soo hard after getting harsh feedback.

Ep. 5 is probs skippable. They reveal the ranks of the trainees and also show a 'hidden camera' prank thing where they see which trainees would help a staff member carrying some bottles of water or something.

sejeong is just that girl and it seems everyone knew it from the start (including her)! the next ep is mostly the rankings/eliminations with some personality segments sprinkled throughout (the dorm life, the trainees getting vaccinated, a hidden camera to test their reactions and them ranking amongst themselves who's the top visual), so it's up to you imo

Eek! Omg that Irony performance and the Sejeong teaching Sohye story is really a standout in my memory of this show. Kahi crying omg can’t believe you teared up!! Never seen that from you before 😆 but valid af. Happy to see you liked Nayoung’s voice, that’s Sejeong’s friend again that I mentioned in ep 1. She’s great! So excited for what’s to come 😁 Honestly I don’t remember what the next ep is like, but if it’s all eliminations yeah just skip it imo, because let’s be honest out of the 101 no one really remembers the ones eliminated first anyway.

Sohye's story is interesting because she initially didn't want to be there, her company sent her but she was actually an ACTING Trainee. She wanted to be an actress not an idol, but then she started wanting to prove something to herself, and encouragements from other girls like Sejeong made her feel happy.

Dude, back when I was watching your street woman fighter vids I always thought “I can’t wait until he gets into both seasons for PD101”… you cannot imagine the excitement I saw when in your community posts that you were actually reacting to PD101 😭😭I had to resub immediately, the reactions are so gooood!! I think the like documentary-style bts of the girls practicing and getting feedback was def what made the first two seasons of produce stand out more than the others, it just felt real and raw in a way? That and the level of vocals these trainees had. Glad to see your enjoying the videos!! Cant wait for more!! <33

Bae Yoonjung scene on Irony training when she said to Sohye “Sohye, do you want to become a singer?” literally went viral and it even became a catchphrase during the time of PD101 that everybody was using that word for parody like you wouldn’t understand that it became a huge thing back then and still is now

55:20 omfg no this is insane cause it's the way blondie got scolded as main vocal but eventually went on to make the debut lineup for the survival show "Girl's on fire," in 2024 and was probably one of the best vocalists and had one of the most viral performances from that show... i had no idea she was on pd101. like i'm genuinely shocked.
