I should've known this album would've been great but i'm glad i waited for the right time to listen properly.

It's refreshing to hear solo tracks on an album DONE well and be full of intention!!

Momo and Tzuyu were the greatest surprises here!! I'm so glad I have these songs now yaaayy.

MICAH OMGG I’m so happy I have been anticipating this day for months u don’t even understand 😭💖im so happy u enjoyed jihyos, momos, and tzuyus solos! those are my favs from the album. I had a feeling ATMs bridge would get you and everything after it JSDFJKN JIHYO WAS SINGING DOWNNN and that intro & outro!! she sounds so good humming. Tzuyus was such a pleasant surprise for me as well on my first listen! my girl was hitting those runs and on top of that THOSE HARMONIES?? like u said, she was at the end to shut me up😭its a cute song that suits her very well. AND MOMOS that prechorus had me levitating AND THE FUCKING BASS MAN. THANK U SO MUCH MICAH MUAH!! u rlly know how to save the day💖

yessss!!!! i am not seeing enough people appreciate me + you🩷 i was also the most surprised by tzuyu! why couldn't we get this sound and production for her solo??!? run away fell flat on first listen but dive in makes my top 3

So glad you got to these! I'll mention a couple things, glad you loved them though: The "lyric visualiser" ones were actually shorter parts of the tracks, like the shortened versions they do on the tour! And a little extra on Dahyun's is that she actually plays the piano on her performances! Oh and Chaeyoung's was obviously done up until her actual album released, where her solo song has swapped to Shoot instead!

So happy you reacted to that album can't believe it's already been 10 years with Twice they have accomplished so much and improved so much too , like true character development lol thanks for the video ( idk if you knew but they all have full songs lol it's just that you watched the shortened version ) lov u 🫶🏾🫶🏾

If you’re at all interested, Tzuyu had her solo debut last year. Was a mini and the title track MV is Run Away. I, personally, enjoyed it. Was a great way for her to get to showcase her voice outside of Twice. (Since you were surprised by her voice)

TBH, this is the main reason why a lot of ONCE want every member to release at least one solo project. We want them all to get the chance to have their vocals shine in ways they can’t as a full group.

i have a lot of issues with tzuyus diction and sometimes her tone is too nasally for my taste, but honestly yea, HUGELY underrated vocalist in twice. Id love for her to be able to sing in her native tongue, or for them to just stop getting her to sing in english in general, bc i feel like she does have a womenly tone there somewhere, and its more evident in their newer korean bsides.

Long ass fucking comment incoming 💀💀💀 Personally the best songs on here were the ones by the soloists (Chaeyoung was technically not a soloist yet when the teaser snippets released). Nayeons one is just a very solid track and honestly what I would expect from her. I'm not into country music but just being able to hear Jongyeon actually sing for 2 minutes straight is so refreshing. It's also so cute to see how much fun she has performing it live. Momo and Sana are in the same boat for me. I think their songs match them perfectly. A dance track that utilises what Momo can offer vocally really well, and straight pop for Sana makes sense. I'm glad they continue this with the following Misamo solos. I was worried you weren't enjoying Jihyos as much as I'd expected, but as soon as that bridge hit it got you lmfao 😭. That was pretty fun to watch. I feel the same way about Minas track to you, it was kind of confusing. It's so interesting to see how different it is to her solo on the last Misamo album and then again to the most recent one. Genuinely intrigued as to what kind of music she's into and what direction she'd take if she ever released a project. Dahyun did a good job with the sample. Did not have high hopes honestly when I heard it come in but she made it work really well. Props to her for also writing the lyrics and playing the piano live during the concert performances. I actually enjoyed the shorter version of Chaeyoung's track more than the full one which clearly got a bit too repetitive. I will say this track seems more like a 'Chaeyoung from twice' song rather than a Cheayoung solo song if that makes sense. Tzuyu definitely surprised me too. I didn't like her solo project, but I didn't dislike it. Just felt sort of generic to me. I enjoyed the experience and it was nice to see her challenge herself with solo promotions. The big plus side from her solo though is a very clear confidence boost. She's really been shining ever since. I think I read she's been having more singing/voice lessons. If she does release a new project I hope it's in a similar vein to this track. You got around to this reaction so soon after commenting that you'd check it out asap. I appreciate you not rushing through it though and again giving your honest thoughts. Thank you so much for checking it out. And just like that I've caught up on all the twice reactions. It has genuinely been so fun rediscovering their discography with you!!!
