"Go" is absolutely up my alley, love that kind of production. Unfortunately the video still had gobs of AI and coupled with the ridiculousness of Dr. Luke's involvement in the album, I was anything but impressed with the rest of the tracks. It feels so safe and uninspired.

LMAOO the blank stares and occasional head bopping has me crying😭 Go has really grown on me, the rest of the album I'm not too impressed with. Go being the best song on the EP makes sense to me since it's the only song on the EP where they all have writing/composing credits. I thought the success from their solo eras would maybe make them come back hungry for group music that they each personally connect with, but seems like it has done the opposite which is a shame :/ At least I know their solo music coming will eat loll

GO I will say is a fresh sound for them and i enjoyed the vocals a lot too, but the chorus wasn’t for me…lol yes thats exactly it! The chorus really sounds like a gamer soundtrack or something The rest of the songs didn’t feel like they went anywhere for me which is a bit of a shame but all in all, I think they’re more focused on their solo’s now which, fair enough Thanks for reacting to it and sharing your honest thoughts ☺️

Terrible album that lacks taste in both concept and execution. And I'm INCREDIBLY disappointed in these women for choosing to work with a known abuser. Like they are all multimillionaires with incredible pull in the industry, you absolutely cannot tell me they were forced to work with Dr. Luke on MULTIPLE songs on their album. Just so gross. And I'm saying this as a Blink, I've been there since day 1. And throughout the entire journey with this group there have just been so many disappointing developments and choices made with how the group was managed. I would say YG is definitely to blame from the start, but at a certain point we have to reckon with the fact that they now have tons of agency in their own careers and yet we're still here... listening to "make it pop like lolli" and now multiple MVs filled with ugly uncanny AI like come ON

Girl. This album and bts album need to walk hand and hand into the sun. I did love the way the sung the lyrics but I really don’t like the production and the lyrics. At least they convey the message with conviction and confidence, something Blackpink has always done. But I don’t like these songs lol And I was excited for this 😭

WOW thing by SM was 100x better and felt like a real girl group and it WASN'T, meanwhile Blackpink makes this shit album...

I bet they weren’t even in the same building when recording this. Just me and my girls is a song that was scrapped out of Lisa’s album 100% What is happening to 3rd gen? Them, bts and exo were so disappointing. It’s up to my queen’s red velvet now, if they disappoint me I’m done just cut the cameras 😭

I find it very hard to call this a comeback tbh. I like the bridge in Go at least. I hate to say it but the members of BTS and Blackpink are way more interesting musically as soloists even if I dont always love their solo stuff 😔

A decade into their career and they add to their incredibly limited discography a very short uninspired project. I actually didn't mind Go since it had elements that felt somewhat different to their previous titles, but the rest was just so whatever. I'm not really a fan of their solo projects but atleast in those you could see they had their own individual visions. Honestly I think I've grown tired of the blackpink concept in general and I wouldn't be surprised if they have too. I'd be so intrigued to see an album where the four of them actually work on and create something personal for themselves as a group, not having to live up to that 'we're the best theres no one like us' bullshit that YG keeps getting them to do. Unfortunately I don't think that's ever actually going to happen. I completely get you saying that you had to listen to the whole thing atleast once, I felt the exact same way. You're right about their performances being the best thing, but aside from that it seems they didn't really give you much else to actually react or comment on.

I mean even Jisoo and Rose's more "mainstream" and "Plain" songs like apt. and flower would have been better than all the B-sides on this combined.
