Girl idk wtf ITZY are doing man. SOME of the blame lies with their division for sure with the kind of venues, lack of band and staging they get but also the girls don't seem like they enjoy being on stage. Where is the energy? Yeah it times it looks chic but other times it just lacks excitement. Maybe they were sick or tired, then i'd understand and commend them for performing cos I personally find it an insult to your audience to look like you're THAT miserable on stage.

I didn't think there was any point of me carrying on to watch the rest. Something is missing and it just feels like they're in a rut. I think Ryujin is just getting through her contract but I don't see her renewing, I'd be GOBSMACKED if she did lol. I even watched their 2021 mama performance off camera and it's like night and day. EVERYONE's energy is insane and their faces look hungry!

Now for NMIXX. WOW, the energy was immediate and it's great to watch a concert of theirs. Their discography is very consistent which is great and the live band and added vocals did wonders.

For the things i'd want for them improvement wise. More FUCKING FUN STYLING. Like they're not characters in a post apocalyptic show goddamit lol. Can we put them in some colours and trendy street clothing for their more r&b/hiphop influenced music? This would help them show different characters on stage for sure.

Overall I was thoroughly entertained. Sullyoon SHINED!!!

Sorry if you already knew this (or say this in the video), but did you miss the news last year? Itzy renewed their contracts, not sure for how long. Hopefully this was a one off, their "That's a No No" performance on MCountdown was pretty good.

Ooooh I didn't do! Then consider me gobsmacked lol maybe it was just a bad day

i was at nmixx’s concert about two weeks ago, everything was so good, the live band, the vocals and just the performances overall i think it was my favorite gg concert 😆

When it came to Itzy, I noticed the energy started lacking around Born to Be era. The BTB tour Yeji was the ONLY one giving sadly. I’ve seen multiple video clips from this show and it seemed like Yeji and Chaeryeong were the only ones trying. Ryujin and Yuna were definitely more noticeable when they have low energy.

The crazy thing about NMIXX is that besides being vocally amazing, they all dance their frecking asses off. None of them look out of place or low energy next to the others. Kyujin is like, probably the strongest if i take into account all of her social stuff and live stuff she posts but Haewon, and Jiwoo are fantastic, Sullyoon has been KILLING it lately, Bae brings alot of energy and then surprisingly Lily doesn't typically let up on energy during her vocal parts even though it would make it easier, she just powers through and her details are like spot on from start to finish. She does all the facial expressions even when she is not in center. I adore this group so much and they are absolutely one of my favorites. Plus you watch their content together and they remind me of how close TWICE is with each other which i think alot is owed to how long they trained together (Lily and Haewon specifically). As for ITZY, this concert series i think was kind of like "lets go and do it" and the energy shows...... but after Thats a No No just absolutely ignited the performances that came after look like they are having fun again, especially the no no dance practice and their music show perfs. To be honest, it must be hard to be a group that was like so big on debut and then just fell off hard and even with stronger releases more recently (and one of the best songs of the last few years in imaginary friend) they still have not even come close to regaining any semblance of that popularity until sort of recently. Doesn't help that Yeji's solo was so good compared to the group work either probably and Ryujin these days gets more attention for her posts with her friend group than the music stuff. I really enjoy them as a group and their channel content has been like really good about showing their relationship is much deeper than it had appeared recently but it would be nice if JYP really supported them the way they need to be. They are a group that can deliver insanely good live performances and it's really disappointing to see them look unhappy when performing now.

Yesss I hope that's a no no will give them second wind and I hope the new comeback has STRONG choreo that's fun too

Cool is still one of my favourite k-pop songs. So good

I saw NMIXX in Hammersmith last week. They were sooooo good live!! Love them!

What I like about Nmixx is they seem truly passionate when it comes to singing/performing - but I agree with you in that they just need to loosen up a bit (and a styling upgrade) which I think will come with some more experience. Already seeing it in their recent tour clips where they seem to be having a lot of fun on stage. I hope with the success of Blue Valentine they can really evolve their artistry to another level. A sidenote that Sullyoon mentioned how her role model for stage performance was Jihyo - and I saw some of that energy in their Vina Del Mar set (which was also a great performance I recommend). 1:14:47 It's really Bae's adlib at that part (she does it in their Tiny desk) - as well you can see more clearly on this performance cam (1:37): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POLLVzVNGio

It's a real shame about Itzy. I sincerely hope they regain their spark because they are truly talented and used to be the epitome of great performances, but it seems like JYP Entertainment has abandoned them for the past few years. A live band is the bare minimum for a concert, especially for a senior group. Regarding Nmixx, something I'd like to see improved in their concerts is the equalization and sound engineering. They could also perhaps use the head microphones less. I miss seeing more moments of them singing without choreography and enjoying themselves. They are a group that complements each other very well, both vocally and energetically, and you can tell they enjoy what they do. Side note: Lily is out of this world.

Koko3op

Oooo that's good! Yess I guess this was just before Blue Valentine really blew up.

Koko3op

YES I should've said that the choreo was tooo much. Their a group where they'll thrive with less of that and more natural movement, similar to babymonster since they sing live so much

shana

nmixx are crazy performers and lily is a MONSTER im so sad i couldn't go to their paris concert (what did jyp think sending them in a 2k capacity venue ??) but i enjoyed watching this with you ! and i agree for the styling, it's getting old, like the clothes look good on them but its defo not the vibe also at 1:14:45 it really was bae singing !!

CRIS RODRIGUEZ

I don't know much about boy groups, but as far as girls go, Nmixx and Babymonster carry the weight of vocals and live performance in K-pop right now.

Honey

I just saw nmixx in New York a few days ago, and they were phenomenal! Even now in April, compared to the Incheon concert last November, you can tell that they're really getting more comfortable with their performances in a tour/concert setting. You could also definitely tell that they were having soooo much fun jumping around and interacting with the audience every chance they got. I do think they'll eventually improve a lot with more experience under their belt, this is their first world tour after all. I'm honestly just so excited to see how much they evolve over time !!

Acellioo

Please react to NMIXX more. especially cover, they're so good

onlyonlysun

completely agree with some lipsyncing (or at least supporting background vocals) being okay and even necessary for a live performance. i LOVE nmixx and i KNOW they can sing but they're so out of breath??? like let my girls rest!! PLEASE!
