The way they learn choreo just stresses me OUT !! Loool

How they manage to pick it up and keep it moving will never not impress me. This really is Seita's era, as well Hyui in terms of the choreo, they embodied it SO WELL.

Vocally, Yu shined a lot! I need to double check if i watched the one for O Rly? I'm pretty sure I did.

Either way this was a blast, it's always great watching the best dance group in kpop do what they do best!

You're so right about about Geon lacking bounce/groove in his movement but that's something that will develop over time. He's still a relatively new dancer and if you ever get a chance to watch their survival show you'll see just how bad he used to be 💀 For him to be at the level he is now and keeping up with the other members, it's such insane growth. as someone who biases geon i agree with you. i was surprised he was the center (idk if thats actually his position or not) and that he started a lot of their songs especially since people always say how bad he was on their survival show lol. but i think a lot of it has to due with the lack of confidence he has in himself, i truly think it is something he can improve (vocals and dance) as long as he keeps trying. despite him not being the best vocally or dance wise out of the group i can't help but love him, he is sooo cute (yes he is babygirl lol) and brings such a fun energy. I also think i enjoy him so much because of how emotionally intelligent he is (from watching vlogs and their nex2u videos) and how hard he works to improve himself. truly the only thing i can ask from an idol who knows they are lacking compared to their members is for them to continue to learn and improve themselves and thats exactly what geon does.

omg idk HOW this video escaped me so i am very late!! but i did wanna add some insight as a dancer myself (mostly trained in hip hop/commercial) as to maybe why geon doesn’t have groove in his dancing! so the most common thing that happens with dancers who are taught at an older age, or just haven’t been doing it for a very long time, is because they will replicate whoever is teaching them. the other members have been in the dance scene for a very long time, plus having backgrounds in popping, house, breaking, etc. so those foundations are practically woven into their bodies!! they’ll always have a much easier time adding those little flairs into choreo bc it’s natural for them. however, since geon is newer, and was most likely only trained in the company (or maybe other dance classes he’s taken alongside), i would say he sticks to the basics of dance. clean lines, solid balance, and sharpness. he’s most likely just dancing the choreo and making sure it’s doing what the choreographer needs it to do. it’s quite common for newer dancers to sacrifice their own flair to be able to just dance the routine and be clean. ESPECIALLY with fast choreo, lots of dancers get in their heads about doing too much in a fast routine and then missing a beat and throwing everything off. the members have it easier since their bodies are more tuned to finding pockets! i’m assuming geon sacrifices his own flair to be able to do the choreo clean, especially for the faster routines as he might be the one who struggles most with the pace. i don’t believe this is an issue for any of their slower choreo, so it could just be a tempo thing. because say he’s learning a choreo that has a designated move for a nice groove, he’d do it bc that’s what the choreo calls for. if that makes sense. in general, i think he manages to add a little flair when he can but it’s not common. but overall, he’s AMAZING regardless!! considering how bad he used to be LOL i truly think he’ll develop over time bc the potential is through the roof
