Not quite velvet, more ... polyester !

After 2 years, this is overall pretty underwhelming but maybe it'll grow me (it won't oifhdjsoih).

I just don't get why there couldn't be more substance and risks here, like come on?

Some nice moments though anyway.

EP was very underwhelming surfin boy and orchestra are doing most of the heavy lifting for me

While the EP was not what I was particularly expecting or wanting from them after such a long break since their last comeback, I am really happy to hear their voices again!

To be honest, I could already parse which songs I’d enjoy from the teaser medley. I was hoping to be surprised when listening to the album but that wasn’t the case. Orchestra will be going triple platinum in my car though! Surfing boy was really pleasant too.

I really really wish they had leaned into the velvet side more. If they're not gonna perform Orchestra at all I would have dropped a track video/visuals for it anyway 😩 it's a crime. Also SM gives the craziest descriptions. Surfing Boy is bossa nova for sure but Reggae?? where? lmao. I was actually a bit disappointed. It was more straightforward than I thought it would be. The Kenzie song had me like ??? but the individual parts of it I loved. I agree with you this could have easily been a good full album if they threw some more interesting tracks like Orchestra on it. Production was delicious

If orchestra was the actual title track I would've been wayyy more invested in this comeback just because surfin boy is good but it's kinda very basic for a group like red velvet

SM gotta be joking man After 2 WHOLE years only an EP?? With filler songs at that smh.. Surfing boy grew on me, the Kenzie song is bit confusing but i can groove to it and Orchestra? BANGEEERRR I really missed them tho!
