What are YOUR thoughts?!

So many moments in these songs could've really elevated and caught me but maybe it's just not for me although there's definitely a couple of songs I'd listen to again!

I'm praying YG frees them and they come back with a full album with new producers and concepts IF that's what they truly want, they might not!

I think that Jisoo really came into her own with the songs from this album. From her beautiful soprano vocals in Happiest Girl, her rich vocals in Yeah Yeah Yeah, having the second most lines in Typa Girl and Ready for Love, her cadence in Shut Down (plus her dancing style really fitting the song).

PamRenea

Shut it down and Typa Girl. That's it's. Everything else meh. It's time to let them do thier own style of music Individualized

Same, I haven't been vibing with BP for awhile now mainly because of the people they work with. My all time favourite tracks from them are playing with fire and whistle. I was invested in them especially because they remind me of 2ne1 whom I loved (if u havent deepdived into 2ne1 i suggest their crush album) but I haven't liked anything since they dropped ddu x3/Kill this love. I think from this album I like yeah yeah yeah and rosé's solo song. The rest didn't do it for me. Apparently, next year is their contract renewal discussion so let's see if they'll stay at YG (I hope not lol).

Tbh the reason why im personally happy with the album is because my expectations hit the ground when i say teddys name all over the tracklist plus pink venom. So it could get better for me

I loved this album lmaoo more than their first one in 2020. It’s just so much more diverse whereas the other one was all BLACKPINK sound. I love that they did some retro and classical and the ballad was absolutely amazing as well. Just wish there were more songs obviously

Michele Wang

Yeah, I don't love it either. They have so much potential but they're given so little to work with. Definitely not worth the hype. New producers and new lyricists would do them wonders.

I just don't know what they're going for anymore in terms of Blackpink's "sound" it seems all over the place and same-same at the same time TT. I feel like pre-coachella tracks were at least more playful. Now i'm just bored. I second the comment above about 2ne1. They were my "ult" group back in the day. They were produced by Teddy too...but idk what's going on with that now... Of the Blackpink songs actually I want them to do something like "forever young" again.
