I'm sorry but I can't make the music NOT SLAP!

These girls just GET IT. I was just blown away!

Can't wait to revisit their older albums that I haven't heard.

Enjoy!

My favorite gg....I miss jiho tho. Between her and binnie/yubins voice, it was a perfect combo vocally as the spine of the song to allow for yooa's distinct timbre and hyojung and seunghees belting

Edward Lee

Their entire catalogue is amazing....they figured out their thing and just became the best at it. While their popularity exploded with songs like dun dun, nonstop, and dolphin their older songs (imo) are far superior songs musically and lyrically

The girls that can sing will sing and they're gonna sing for you, it's that fucking simple - Micah from some other video 🤭

Yeah, they debuted in 2015 with 8 but one member immediately left so they were a 7 member group til 2022 when their contract ended. The current 6 re-signed and jiho left (if you ever watched their Queendom Destiny cover performance she was the blonde)

ok yes. why are boy groups not doing this??? agree 100% i love a good well done "cutesy", maybe a better word is bright, concept. One that i really appreciated recently is Yogurt shake performances by NCT Dream (people might disagree but just my own opinion).

Yes, BRIGHT is a great word to describe it. Gives a sunny feeling, like a mellow yellow happy day. 👌🏿

omg remind me of apink, pretty vocals with great production. omg's real love album is pretty good, you should check it out if you haven't already. I've given up on boy groups doing anything outside of noise music lol

No controversy or anything such. The member (Jiho) genuinely just took an early retirement from singing basically, at the end of their 7-year contract to move into acting

The "noise music" results in millions of album sales. Its hard to break a trend when the results are doing so well. The smaller groups with nothing to lose will try

Next btob album plz

omg you’re actually in for such a treat if you revisit their older albums. Oh my girl and fromis_9 are the only two ggs outside of my close favs where I make sure I always tune in

Jess

I really hope to see you reacting to more of their stuff, I'm here for it! Regarding their past: I think the best way to say it is that they've never done anything with malice, it's just been ignorance. Every member is Korean and most of their fans are Korean, so they emulate things in Korean culture that we would consider problematic but to them is just normal e.g. that dumb Curry song. I'm not excusing it, just giving context I guess It doesn't help that international fans fall over themselves to point fingers, e.g. YooA's solo debut twitter posts got ratioed for being "racist" when there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it's now constantly mentioned as one of the best solo debuts!

Just noticed this album reaction today and now I'm wondering if you have planned on doing OMG's older albums soon-ish?

Oh and on that note, it'd be great if you'd do a Lovelyz album review sometime! Lovelyz8 is a great start if you ever decide to react to them :)
