"Thank you!~"

Here's the Patreon version of tonight's video! The main difference being that it's the original cut of the Tom and Jerry section, since that one had some wild copyright issues. Really hope y'all enjoy!

Thanks for the support!

I love this whole series of cartoons at the movies. A fun follow up could be "What modern cartoons should go to the movies?"

French Pasta

Tariq was blessed me again can’t wait to watch this

About Transformers being "what it's like to be a fucking man", I have a group of friends who are all trans men, cis women, and gay men who LOVE that shit. We're talking commissioning VR chat models of their TF OC's and having TF RP names in the Discord server. Transformers is surprisingly popular with non-dudebro circles, you just gotta look for it. Also, if you want a REALLY good modern TF movie that actually does explain things, I'd recommend Transformers One from 2024 heavily.

I should stress: I myself am not a TF fan at all but I've been around this other group enough to absorb a bunch of it through osmosis. Those robots get CRAZY, especially in the comics.

You know it's a good day when Toonrifictariq uploads a new video

I didn’t check Patreon before I got the YouTube notification, but I’m glad I did. Keep up the good work.

I didn’t grow up with Transformers G1. Wasn’t even interested in the Transformers shows of my childhood. But by summer 2018 I had watched Transformers Prime for the first time on Netflix and had years of ‘80s babies talking up The Transformers: The Movie. There was a Fathom Event for it that had a Bumblebee featurette in front. That Bumblebee featurette got me to see the film when it was released and turned me into a fan of the franchise. And Transformers One is awesome AF

We’re a few years away from nostalgia critic being 20 years old, and I don’t think I’m mentally prepared for that

Doug is 43. He’s exactly 3 years younger than the Star Wars Holiday Special.

I'm so Glad you talked about Tom and Jerry The Movie. I grew up with this movie when I was kid. Its Always in my Top 10 (Shit I watched this Twice this Month). The Music is always a BOP. I love the story. Tom and Jerry Talking is just Fun. Thanks Tariq!

Hey Tariq. Glad to know you rock with the Yogi movie just as much as I do! They really leaned into what makes Yogi a lovable character. Unfortunately yeah Man Called Flintstone is pretty boring, even if Alan Reed can put pretty much anything over. Pretty frustrating that the Jetsons movie has more emotional depth like you were talking about!

I love these longer videos, always gives me something to make the time go by at work. Any chance we can get a “Cartoons that went live action” vid? Ex. That Flinstones movie with John Goodman or “Grow Up Timmy Turner”

toonrifictariq

maybe one day, ive been considering something like that!

This was an awesome vid, as usual my guy.

Oh, and speaking of people you recognize in the credits of the Yogi Bear one, one name I saw in it was Don Lusk. Who also animated on A Boy Named Charlie Brown, and animated scenes like Linus comforting Charlie Brown in bed, Lucy running back the failed football kick on instant replay, and Linus explaining to Lucy what his blanket means to him. You probably know exactly what those scenes look and move like if you remember.

Tariq, you should watch Jellystone! (I am not exclaiming that, it is in the title). The first season is kinda meh, but by season 3 (That just ended) I think there are some really good episodes.
