OF COURSE YOU DROP IT RIGHT BEFORE UFC!!! I HATE/LOVE YOU!! I will hate you even more if you make us wait another 2 months for bDark knight rises

Batman's main rule: No Guns & No Killings.

Yorkshire Shaft

That's what I call a superhero masterpiece. Plus joker told batman the wrong addresses knowing he would choose Rachel. That's also why he didn't just shoot her before he found out how much Bruce cared for her and batman did the same.

Thought I had to as wasn't sure coby picked up on it bless her. There's alot of twists and clever things joker did to mess everything up. As he says he shows how they can't control everything. Absolutely class film I could never watch it enough it's a all time classic for me.

Crimson Ace

Excellent spot of the eyeliner. While that aspect of Bruce's transformation into Batman is missing from most film adaptations, it is definitely within Matt Reeves' The Batman (2022). I highly recommend that one as it leans into the Film Noir take of the character. This was a fantastic reaction. Thanks, Coby.

DC and Marvel are still competitors. The "MCU" in this movie was funny as it just means "Major Crimes Unit"....this movie came out before the first Iron Man which started the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yes, Comic Book movies can be amazing...hopefully you get to the Marvel movies eventually as many are also excellent.

Martin

Great reaction. One minor quibble: Batman actually went to save Rachel, while Gordon went after Dent. The reason he ended up at Dent’s location is because the Joker purposely gave him the wrong addresses.

Trevor Go

Let's not wait so long till we get to the next one. Love the reaction.

Just finished watching it this morning and my god you're reaction is amazing. And yeah the best performance of heath ledges life. It's insane how amazing he was.

Jonathan Martin

Was anyone else wishing for a double feature?

Daniel

I never get tired of watching this trilogy amazing movies. Great reaction and I look forward to the last one.

SavageDiplomat

The Joker didn't know that Batman was Bruce Wayne and Batman didn't intentionally save Harvey. Joker gave him the wrong address.

Wade Wallenstein

Excellent reaction! I'm a big Batman fan having grown up watching the 1966 TV show in syndication and the other films. I've collected several collectible figures since and even some comic books. I was blown away like everybody else with Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker. Him and Jack Nicholson from the 1989 Batman are the best Joker. The film you saw with Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face and Jim Carrey as The Riddler is Batman Forever from 1995 :)

One thing you may have forgotten or didn't realize- you have seen the 'Skyhook' retrieval system before; it is at the very end of Thunderball, when the plane comes and 'grabs' Bond and Domino from the rescue boat and pulls them up!

Michael Gregory Cote

It is obviously normal to miss something when first experiencing a movie/show, or whatever. We all have done it. So when you thought Batman went for Dent on purpose, I barely noticed. But then you didn't stop saying it lol maybe around 10 times. Just thought that was funny. Great reaction though.... it is def a classic

Joe Rambo

Really loved your reaction to Heaths performance. No matter how many times I rewatch this movie I can’t get over how good he was

Vargatron

Fun fact: when the joker blows up the hospital, there's a moment where the explosives didn't completely explode. That was not intentional. Heath ledger improvised the scene where he's trying to get the detonator to work while the crew worked behind the scenes to get the rest of the explosives to blow up. His reaction when they do blow up is entirely real. His improvisation was just so good that you thought it was part of the movie. You can find video on YouTube of them talking about this.

Is there a rough date for when 'Rises' Reaction will be out on the Patreon?
