the full update on this patreon, and what to do moving forward (Patreon)

you all probably heard about the Discord verification thing. this makes having most Patreon content on Discord difficult, and i don't want to leave anyone [subscribed to the patreon] left out. so i'm moving everything here first; the Discord will be in a sort of limited operation mode, where i'll still have it up and posted to as a patreon perk, but it won't be the primary place for the patreon content.

this brings about a dillemma with the Nitro Slug tier: their perk relies on access to the Discord to send requests for drawings. this is doable through other methods, but i'm not sure how i could do it thru Patreon itself and i'd otherwise have to figure out another method. on top of that, i considered consolidating into a single tier due to the general increase in cost of living and the fact that Turbo Slugs may as well have Nitro Slug perks. pretty tenuous on that last bit, but this may be the opportunity to restructure how the entire patreon works.

either way, this transition ideally won't be as rough as it seems. for those who really appreciated having a social space in the Discord, i may make a Fluxer server as an alternative, but without certain Patreon integration currently this will probably be more of a generalized lil fanclub until it gets real support. we'll see.
