With a hulked out Jude and Nick out of the picture, things unfold a little differently for Pawbert. Having found an unexpected relationship with a coldblooded reptile, his priorities shift. The allure of power pulls him onto a different trajectory, one that risks putting an end to only real love he's ever known.

Spoilers for Zootopia 2, obviously! There's enough events referenced that could partially spoil the plot if you haven't seen the movie first.

This one was a fun little personal project for me, a haphazard idea spinning out into around 11k words. I enjoyed the idea of Pawbert having a bit of redemption without forsaking his darker side, so mingling some romance along with a power-tripping rampage felt appropriate~
