Oh man it's been forever since I thought about those season trailers. So cool that you're reacting to that. Those started getting released online shortly after I completed the Buffyverse for the first time myself. I remember thinking they were the coolest thing ever. I hope they still hold up!

The Oracle Witch

I was 7 when it came out so honestly I do not remember the trailers, so I'm stoked to see these!

The great tragedy of the remaster is why fans always tell reactors to STAY AWAY from it, haha.

GenU

Did I miss the BTS Part 4 or am I losing my mind?

Lime Pie

Why would anyone ever send SMG a death threat over her preferring Angel to Spike? My god some people can be so weird.

I love these so much. I've seen those trailers on YouTube already but I still cried today??? Also just wanted to ask, did you say "kerfuckle" at one point 😂 because kerfuffle is just one of the best words so that's a twist that I'm now obsessed with. And I think you should at some point watch Glee, I was SUPER late to it too (just started it last year) but I'm so glad I did. It's one of my foster daughter's favorites too (although she doesn't necessarily watch the actual show as much as we just have dance parties to the songs because she's 6 lol). But she chooses either a Buffy episode or Glee each night, they're her favs!

Raven Dark

That was super fun! The trailers were awesome. I also loved that you reacted to The Great Tragedy of the Buffy HD Remaster. The guy who did that video, Passion of the Nerd, has a lot more really great stuff to do with the Buffyverse. He's also the one that does the breakdown of Restless, the final ep of season 4. That video is excellent, and I highly recommend reacting to it. He has a spoiler version and a non-spoiler version, but since you're done the series, I recommend the spoiler one, since now it's safe for you to watch.

Since you asked, The Wire is (in my opinion) the greatest show of all time. It’s an in-depth look at a dying American city and how all of its institutions can be corrupted by the inside. A look at Baltimore from the prospective of The Cops, the drug dealers, the blue color industries, the politicians, and the newspapers where each season focuses on a different aspect. Where the cops aren’t the good guys and the drug dealers aren’t the bad guys but that each are shades of grey where the people are just trying to survive in the circumstances they find themselves in. It’s a masterpiece of a show.

As Raven Dark mentioned, Passion of the Nerd is definintely worth checking out. He has some truly amazing video summaries/commentaries on Buffy (and Angel, for that matter). All his videos are done in a similar style to the HD Remaster video, with the visual elements being as important as the textual- you really have to pay attention! Sometimes I need to rewatch several times to catch everything he's "saying". I would totally be up for watching you react to any and all of his videos, Darcie. The "Restless" (spoiler version) would definitely be fun. Just be aware he is only up to 5x18 in BtVS and 2x18 in Angel.

Pretty sure James/Spike was actually 36 and from California, not 38 and from Texas. So I would take the rest of what they're saying with a pinch of salt!

Funny, if you watch the season 6 trailer you would have no idea that the nerd trio was even in that season. Guess we know where the creator stood on that issue!
