Matthew Shields

This episode is heavily inspired by The Big Lebowski. That's a movie Veronica has made several references to throughout the series.

The Kidnapping Victim in this episode Selma Hearst Rose (the granddaughter of the founder of Hearst College) is played by one of the most famous real life kidnapping victims of all time Patty Hearst. Patty Hearst was the real life granddaughter of Publishing Magnate William Randolph Hearst and was kidnapped and held for ransom by a militant group when she was 19. She then joined the group that kidnapped her and helped rob a bank and went to jail. Genius stunt casting. If you dont know her story it's worth looking up

Peta D

The actor playing the husband is most well known for his role as Mr Sheffield on The Nanny.

I'm totally on Logan's side!!! We're losing Veronica for sure! My love for Veronica decreased with each new season, while my love for Logan increased with each new season. And there are many people like this!
