So I was watching this show when I was just about coming to terms with my sexuality. And I was scared of being gay, basically, and it felt like I was "transforming" into something I didn't understand. So when 14 year old me saw Fitz saying "You're just different now and there's nothing wrong with that." I fucking sobbed. And I sob every time. Fitz saying that helped so much to accept myself. And Skye's transition also just feels so relatable, in a weird metaphorical way. I love this show and it's given me my biggest comfort characters.

I love that Fitz is the one to figure out that Skye has transformed. I think he's one of the few people on the team that, after the events of the last episode, would have empathy for her. He went through his own sudden transformation after what Ward did to him and Simmons, so he's acutely aware of feeling what Skye might be going through right now

(Pre-episode) You're so funny! We knew! I always feel like it's the closest we'll get to time travel, watching reactors. Because, like, we know the future and we're just waiting for you to get to it. Can't wait to see how this one goes!

Ah! Seeing Sky's mom in that first scene was such a joy. I know the "future" but not when it happens, so this episode was full of surprises. Helps that I've only seen the show once, years ago, binged in a few months. So much gets forgotten! It feels like Simmons spent a little too long in Hydra for her to come out wanting to eradicate everyone who's different. She already knows there are people out there with powers (remember our beloved Mike??), and she already theorizes it's somehow related to the aliens...but now she just wants to wipe them all out? Too. Much. Hydra. I loved that fake-out shooting. At first, it was like, "NO, May!" Then, "Ohhh it's fake. Colson is not a good actor, apparently." Gordon (no eyes guy) is super cool. When he showed up in that last scene, I screamed. Like, yes, sir...SHOW ME. Super excited to see how these changes affect Sky and the rest of the team. And so glad Mack is okay, but will absolutely miss Tripp. My theory (completely unfounded), is that they had to kill him off, otherwise he would have taken Simmons from Fitz when she inevitably fell for him and his dazzling smile. And as always, your makeup is perfection! Love the little eye swoops ^_^ Can't wait for the next one! (But, also, not to cross tiers... DEEPLY excited for Serenity!)
