Yep. This is why I said a lot of the fandom just chooses the movie to be the end of the series.

I don't mind them killing off Logan honestly. Rob Thomas had an interview after the finale where he said that if they were going to continue to make more VM content at all going forward and keep the modern noir feel, that Veronica couldn't be happily married. She has to have scars and trauma. Once I read that it made sense to me why they chose to do it. I'm personally not a big "shipper" when it comes to TV shows. Like I didn't watch Buffy caring about who she was dating and honestly don't like her with any of her 3 main love interests. And I never watched VM for who Veronica was dating. I like Logan as a character and him and Veronica are good together but them being together isn't make or break for me personally in whether I watch VM or not. They spend a lot of the series not together. Overall, I think this season is good. I was happy to have VM back in my life after all those years and I think a lot of people who hate on it are mostly just angry shippers that don't like the ending with Logan being killed off and dont want to look at the rest of the season objectively without just thinking about the ending.

I do love this season, but I hate what happens at the end! Six years later, I will say I wish there was more. I love Kristen Bell in this role so much. Like SMG- Buffy or Mariska Hargitay- Olivia Benson; she IS Veronica Mars.

I personally believe Rob Thomas wanted different fans, was fed up of us shippers and tried to wipe it clean - unfortunately for him, thats most of the fanbase and the people who aren't are not enough to keep it going. I'm still angry and hurt about this and it's given me a great distrust of revivals to be honest. Why is it people look down on shippers as if we're just some silly nuisances when generally we make the most noise and content for TV shows? I'm so over it. He knew most of the people who paid for the movie for them were shippers thats why he wrote it like that! So it's obviously an issue and he chose this path, the path of no more Veronica Mars... rip

Yeah. Now you know why I blatantly refused to watch. This felt like a huge slap in the face. Totally unnecessary. And I’m not even a huge fan of them.

I do not agree with it, but understand Rob wanting Logan out of the picture to pursue what he wanted to pursue story wise with Veronica. Why they couldn't have just broke up is beyond me. I'm still so sad all these years later about Logan and the trauma Veronica had to endure. It was so fun watching this series with you. I will miss watching it with you. 🫂♥️

Kristen Bell said that she would love to play Veronica until she’s on old lady, Murder She Wrote style because she loves the character so much. And Rob Thomas has said he’d love to continue to tell more stories with the character. They both said as long as someone is willing to make it they will both do it. The problem now seems to be that no network wants to make more. Which is a shame.

oh boy, when this first came out I was so angry and felt horribly betrayed. to this day, the whole VM series still feels tainted cuz you just can't forget that this is where they end up. if it wasn't for darcie's reactions I probably wouldn't have gone back to watch the series cuz it's just a long-winded reminder at how hard Rob Thomas slapped us across the face in the end. such a damn shame.

You know, I've never been a Logan/Veronica shipper. I didn't like the movie, because it felt like it was trying to make as many fans happy as possible. I don't give season 4 enough credit. It's actually pretty decent. I just watched the entire reaction of season 4 in one sitting, so my brain is mush. I am sad Duncan wasn't brought back, even just a short clip of him happy in Mexico with his daughter or whatever. I loved that Leo came back. In all honesty, I knew someone had to die and I'm just so grateful it wasn't Keith... or Wallace... or Weavel. I also loved having Veronica Jr around and would totally follow a spin off about her. All in all, I like season 4. Season one will always be my absolute favourite.
