My biggest disappointment with the entire series was that we never had any fallout from Veronica getting the skinny on hundreds of powerful people at the end of season 3. In any universe that I know of, powerful people don't just forget that their dirty laundry is in the hands of a teenage girl with no assurances that it would be kept secret. That could have been the big deal in the movie or season 4. That needed resolution in my mind.

A great moment in our VMars reactions is the literal moment where we found the title from Season 2 “Donut Run” was literally the episode our Duncan ‘Donut’ ran off with his baby.

As far as Veronica's personality in Season 4, I think that we have no choice but to accept that she's in character for where she is in her life, mostly because Rob Thomas created the character, was the show runner for all the seasons and wrote the movie. If it was a different person in charge then I think you could say that maybe they didn't get the character or something but with Rob being in charge of the character and how he envisions the character at this point of her life is "in character" IMO.

Just as far as personality, I think Leo is the best match for Veronica honestly. They just vibe so well together. Veronica and Logan actually don't have a lot in common personality-wise IMO. They just have amazing chemistry together.

Your ranking of the seasons is the same as mine. S4 is the best since S1 imo, so I'm glad to hear you felt the same! Yeah, Logan's death was upsetting, but I didn't hate it. I've never expected Veronica to get a happy ending, as the show was always a noir at its core, and just from a TV writing perspective, there wasn't much more to do with Logan as a character in my mind. He had quite the journey. My only complaint was that the ending felt rushed, as I do agree that we and the characters both needed a bit more processing time on that event. But that's a minor quibble on what I consider a pretty stellar season of TV overall.
