Dont worry, I STILL miss Rose to this day lol. Excited for you to meet new characters though! And I also have to say, I’m glad they didn’t just skip over showing the Doctor grieve. Rose was special to him, he definitely needs time. Also Donna is amazing even just in one episode 😍😍 - sincerely member of the Rose Tyler religion.

Darcie, if you want some easier way to refer to each face of the doctor, we whovians tend to use their numbers/actors name, like, the last one, christopher eccleston, was the 9th incarnation of the doctor, david tennant is the 10th, so you can just call them by their number, if it makes any easier for you.

Love this episode sm 😭 and I’m so glad you liked Donna! She can be a lot at first but she’s straightforward, confident and not afraid to tell the doctor what she thinks! And so fun 🥹 it was important to know that it was possible to like another possible companion after Rose left. And even though she was only here for a special, I think she definitely left an impression on the Doctor bc she definitely left one on me 🥹🫶🏼 Catherine Tate was a mostly comedic actress before this but that scene of her trying to hide her pain in the Tardis after Lance’s betrayal 😭 she’s an icon and I love her

Don't worry about calling a Doctor "the new Doctor". I don't think anyone will get mad at you for it. Even though they are canonically the same character, the fandom often differentiates them by using their numbers. You are currently experiencing the Tenth Doctor, and the first one (with the cute ears) was the Ninth Doctor. We generally call them by their numbers so everyone knows exactly who we're talking about. Everyone has their favorite Doctor, and they'll tell you about it by saying something like, "Oh yeah, I grew up watching the Tenth Doctor, so Ten is my favorite". So if you're happy that there's no new face for the Doctor, you can just say that you're glad Ten is still around!

I'd personally put this one as season 3 ep 0 but always happy for more Doctor Who. I do feel like I need to mention she's not getting married Christmas Day, it's Christmas Eve which is why people are out and about shopping etc and I feel like I could attend a Christmas Eve wedding y'know? :)
