What an episode to choose for a week break 🤣🤣 I know it’s gonna be eating away at you lol. Martha gets the bad end of this deal 100%. Important to note the Tardis randomly chose a time to place them in so it’s not the Doctor’s fault but man it’s still shitty. Also while rewatching with you I was imagining Rose in Martha’s place and her having steam coming out of ears when seeing Matron and the Doctor kissing 🤣🤣

Fun fact: The Doctor (as John Smith) says his parents were Sydney and Verity, which are the names of the show's original creators (Sydney Newman and Verity Lambert). In a way, they really are the Doctor's parents.

Man, the actor who plays Banes does such an amazing job as this possessed, creepy alien. The red balloon is from IT, the horror clown, and these scarecrows are terrifying, for real. I want the Wizard of Oz scarecrow back who just danced

I always thought this was a really good episode watching it back though now it's even better than I remember. I'd forgotten about the slightly psychic student.

I understand The Doctor was in a bit of a time crunch but couldn't he have found a time where Martha wouldn't have to deal with quite as much racism?
