I’m fully on board with continuing through fall. I’ll miss GG in the winter but I guess it will be worth the wait 😭 it really just needs to happen in the fall lol. Our first Gilmore Finale next week I’m so excited!!!!!!!

love the Christmas hiatus idea, please keep watching into season 2 it only gets better from here! this is my favorite show and you're my favorite reactor, been around since you were on Buffy season 2 and I always hoped you would react to this show !!

It’s true there’s just something special about watching Gilmore girls in the fall! I like the hiatus idea. And I’m a backstreet boys girlie through and through. So much so that my sister and I went to their concert two years ago and unironically had a great time lol.

At my elementary school you were allowed to be Team Christina/Backstreet Boys (that was me), or Team Britney/N*sync -- but everyone was allowed to like the Spice Girls 😅 (also editing to say: yes jump into Gilmore Girls S2 with a mid-season hiatus! And I'm going to be even more specific because I looked at a calendar and did the math: you should do the winter hiatus after Season 2 Episode 10 -- I promise that is an excellent thematically appropriate hiatus spot :D) editing to add again: the actual show even went on winter hiatus after that episode back in 2001!

Gilmore and Autumn definitely go hand in hand so I LOVE the idea of continuing right into season 2!🍁🍂 Especially with the season 1 finale next week! Of course, selfishly, I want you to just keep going with no hiatus because the series gets better and better lol but I understand that others might want to see the short shows in between as well And to the boyband question, NSYNC girlie always! 😋 but definitely appreciate many BSB hits

Richy Andrews?? That's almost my name! As for the plan on continuing, I am perfectly happy with whatever situation keeps us going down the Gilmore Girls route the quickest. This is such a comfort show for me and rewatching with you has been genuinely one of the highlights of my week. Very selfishly, I wish for this to continue all through A Year In The Life with zero long breaks but I also know that is very unlikely to happen haha

GG is good all year round, but it was made for fall/winter!! 🍂 there is just something special about watching in the fall, it hits different. That scene where the girls talk and reconcile is one of my favs. Such a beautiful and important conversation to have with your daughter

I was definitely an NSYNC girlie (and 98 degrees), but I loved BSB too, just not as much. However, my entire bedroom was Britney, not any of the boy bands. Every inch was covered in Britney memorabilia, except for a small section that was TV-related (Dawson's Creek, Buffy, Charmed, Melrose Place, General Hospital, One Life To Live, All My Children and Port Charles). And yes, please watch GG for the fall!!! It's a must. It just screams cozy vibes and it's when most people start their GG rewatch so not watching it at this time seems flipping wrong. 🎃🧡🍪☕

I'd prefer no break or hiatus from Gilmore Girls, at all! It takes a minimum of 3 + years to get through this show and the reboot without a single week off. I'd rather just get on with it... but if you must... Maybe I'll just wait for you to finish everything, and then I'll be able to watch it all at once!

I’m all for anything that gets me more Darcie x Gilmore Girls, because watching you watch my favorite show makes me really happy! If we must take a break (I get it, but I’d love to keep going.) then I’d say either the Christmas hiatus or the end of season 2, but I think when you put it up for a poll you should include not stopping at all as an option because you seem like you’re really enjoying it. While I know that was the original plan, you did make it before you had seen the show and before anyone here had had the chance to watch your reactions and potentially change their mind. Just my two cents.

I feel so seen. 😆 I love the idea of a winter hiatus so you can get some more variety. As you say with season 1, GGs doesn’t really do big x-mas episodes. So winter really is the perfect time to take that break if that’s what you’re looking to do. Very excited to see what the hiatus season show will be.

I would say just watch all of season 2 and take the break after you finish that, but the Xmas hiatus idea works too! But definitely keep watching through the fall. That is a must! Also I started as a Backstreet Boys girlie and converted to *NSYNC, but 98º were the only ones I saw live (actually I did see SoulDecision live too because they came to our local music festival lol) so I'll always have a soft spot for them.

I’m in Australia and therefore going into spring so the timing is not at all relevant to me 😂 I’m absolutely down to keep going with GG or oooh! What if you made this the Amy Sherman-Palladino (the creator of the show) slot and went back and forth between GG and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel!? But for real, I’m just here for whatever will make this most fun for you
