Jess gets on my nerves more often than I’d like, but he’s definitely an interesting character and adds a good twist into some of the dynamics in the show—but Luke pushing him into the lake will forever be one of my favorite moments of the series lol so well deserved 😋

I was never really one for "bad boy" types. I'm much more a fan of golden retriever himbos (the dad bods are a perk but not a must have). But over the years and on multiple rewatches, I've grown to be much more understanding of Jess as a character Is he still a rude piece of shit? God, yes. And that will probably always bug me. But at the same time, his mom basically gave up on him and ripped the rug from underneath him, forcing him to start a new life. I wouldn't be happy having to do that now, let alone at the ripe age of 17. I'd be pretty angry at the world, too. At least for a while
