I came for the clone hijinks. I’m staying for the Eminem references. 🕳️🪏🚪

it's funny how the c word never crosses anybody's mind until this episode (either the character's or the first time viewer's) the blonde one is my favorite of them all! this is the episode where i think the show starts to actually shape itself, kinda like the last two episodes were like a prologue and this is the first chapter

The soccermom's name is Alison Hendrix and she's amazing ! , love how different they all are and how well they are acted sometimes you forget it's the same actress , and yess we have another one !

I am so fucking happy to be rewatching this with you. I forgot how amazing of a show this is (despite having had an Orphan Black poster up on my wall back in my old apartment) and it's been so much fun reliving all of this. There are so many little details I forgot over the years!

Another fantastic episode here as we get the big reveal right up front. I initially watch the first season on a binge. I definitely didn't guess clone, but I also didn't think about it too much. I was too busy enjoying the ride.

Sarah really facing the limits of her cleverness as she begins actual police work. Her fumbling her way through a call & outsourcing her work are funny. When she's thrown into the deep end while investigating it's even better. Her pursuing a suspect is pretty harrowing. While her instincts are great they're simply not enough to compensate for chasing a hired killer.

Felix's adventures in babysitting is less than a minute of screen time but it's still a great gag.

Everytime I watch this I'm still surprised by the nuances of Tatiana's acting. All the little mannerisms differentiating the clones are just brilliant. And yes, there is behind-the-scenes stuff on this show that you should absolutely watch as you finish the seasons because how they do clone stuff is indeed pretty fascinating (and I think also kinda groundbreaking?).

TJ

Ok my clone guess was correct yay, but I still have no idea of the how, what, or why she’s being cloned or if she somehow is also a clone or the only real person among them? this just gets more intriguing?

Cosima (Dreadlocks) and the blonde clone are my favorite...
